Yes. At least Ranbir has someone who is concerned about the goings on in his life whereas Prachi's mom is more busy with someone else's kid's problems. So the only hope is for him to realize and then try his best to win Prachi's heart.

At the very least I only hope he kidnaps prachi or forced himself upon her but she doesn’t get raped as she should hopefully be shown saved by ranbir.

Nowadays Pragya acts like Rhea and rishi are her children rather than prachi. Pragya’s scenes with those two are just flat out silly.
