Why should HS drop his surname? Singh does not only include his father but also his grandfather who was a good man and loved HS . Can't HS have his grandfather's surname attached to his. Even if he keeps his father's name what's wrong in that? You can't sy one should not love his father because he was a criminal. Woman beater or not he was HS father and HS is entitled to love him. It's not that Mini removed her surname just because Ashok cheated on Babitha. She was calling herself Mini Khuraana with pride even after that. I honestly didn't get this BS either. First of all, HS' family did NOTHING to Babita. It's always been in the Khuranas whether Babita was living in their house or not. Even when she left them, they didn't leave her alone and found a way to make her life miserable. Even POST MARRIAGE, they found a way to screw around with her.

What did HS' family do to her? NOTHING cuz they're all DEAD. HS is the only remaining survivor of the Singh family and when his mother died, he was a KID. Still, he learnt from his mistakes and has been continuously trying to make up for it. Not ONCE has he ever hit Babita. Has he been rude to her? Hell yes, but so has Babita to him. Still, they found a way to get past that and accept the LOVE they have for each other because at the end of the day THAT'S WHAT MATTERS.

I already have sympathy and pity for the character who is gonna be pitted against Mini and will fall for her. Jeevan bhar bechaara torture jhelta rahega. Or or, they'll transform her into this Ideal ITV bahu when it comes to her own love story, forgetting all the venom she spitted for her mother's love.

no one has asked HS to change his name. i was asking if this is leading to that. Remenber how NB had pointed it out to him that it is not easy to let go of blood ties and how HS still has his fathers name in middle
