Exactly. Babita is a fictional character written by someone, like Mini and HS. If Mini and HS could have defined characteristics. Why can’t Babita? She doesn’t have to be a strong personality like them... she can still be introvert and homely, but she could have more nuanced characteristics. They don’t need to show different mindset of indian women and social conditioning through Babita. It makes the show so annoying and frustrating to watch. Babita is a character after all, and writers could have shown her taking interest in business, not freaking out about menial things and learning to strike balance in the new life. And it's not like a normal babita mean no interesting content and the writers would run out of issues to address. She’s a creation of the writers so they can take her any which way they choose 🤷‍♀️

No, they aren’t showing that divorcees and gharelu women are stupid....they are showing what happens to a woman who doesn’t know herself fully and gets pressured by labels and social conditioning. Getting carried away doesn’t make you stupid....everyone gets carried away in their own ways. This is Babita’s tendency so she has to cope with it and learn from it.

This marriage was a big shift for all the characters....most of all for Babita....so I guess she has a lot of issues to still work though.

I don’t know if it will come to a divorce again but yes, financial issues are likely coz Babita never had to balance business and husband before so it’s a new lesson for her to learn.

LOL if HS yelling at Babita in yesterday's epi makes him an MCP, then he's done that many times before the marriage also......tab bhi MCP hi bol dete.

He wasn't looking at it as an expectation that a woman alone needs to do seva, he was looking at it from the perspective of him having given a responsibility to Babita that she wasn't around for when he got home.....that is why he got upset.

Just like he got upset when he felt she wasn't fulfilling her responsibilities in the Supervisor job and he thought her asking him for an extension was her shirking responsibility.

*Edit: I always find it unfortunate how skewed labels get here.

HS has many flaws otherwise.....he has a bad temper and a harsh tongue when he's frustrated.....but instead of viewing his blunders in context of that, people swing all the other way into giving him wild labels like MCP, character butchered, and god knows what else😕.....bhai insaan hai.....na devta, na haiwaan.

Now I have read it all and the point that everyone is not getting is that all the butchered Characters like Babita and HS have been done to justify Mini, the show should now be renamed Bacheri Mini now, as she is the only one shown as the great one and likes giving advice etc and so great all by her wisdom.

They have totally ruined Babita and now HS role, that I am amazed how much criticism they are getting as its not them writing there own scripts but the writers so give them a break.

If that much writing here than get on Twitter and Katha Kottage to tell her and them what you think of the total 100% in each Character ti justify Mini the Great.

If so much criticism here for Babita and HS than do it in the right direction which is Sony liv and Katha Kottage.

You haven't hurt my feelings, so you don't need to apologize to me.

I was commenting in general on the toxic nature of discussions in this forum now where people twist everything to the extremes.

Everything is twisted to claim that only Babita is flawed and everyone thinks others are perfect/mahaan.....no one said that but people here insist on twisting everything shown in the episodes.

I've repeated a 100 times that I don't think HS is perfect, he has plenty of flaws....still people claim that he was perfect before the shaadi and never did anything wrong....he's shown plenty of angry outbursts for various issues before also.....no one ever denied that he has an ego too. Yet many ppl here insist on claiming that all is forgiven for HS and only Babita is targeted.....and if he shows one angry outburst, he immediately becomes an MCP.

Anyways, it's exhausting to keep repeating the same thing cuz the people here who want to twist things will continue doing so...you can't reason with them.
