I mean it is so in-your-face that this show CVs always try to forward the male narrative by keeping the female neutral, especially so in the last track. Man, the way Pre was made to confuse people! Track janha, FL ke emotions wanha. 😡

I have stopped expecting anything practical from Ekta's show! Anu saying the same "Ab hum hamesha saath rahenge". Pre saying the same, "Mujhe rituals wale shaadi chahiye" added nothing to the story. They could have put more meaningful conversations like the beautiful "Have I ever told you..." one they had earlier.

I so wanted them to communicate properly and probably give each other space before jumping into the next nearest marriage and make more promises 😵, but from show point-of-view, they cannot afford it right now, literally. Looking at the condition of the show in the last few months, they need to show high drama to make up for lost ratings and hook TRP viewers. Subtle scenes won't get them that. Cue in AnuPreShaadi lollipop with Komolika as the mirchi 😆

season 1 used to have such beautiful dialogues!

Even a couple of episodes ago, she said, thanks mr.bajaj for letting me go back to anurag. I was like HUH! Lady what!!!! If this was any other show, I’d be like Prerna needs intense therapy or something for portraying she feels less than the folks around her. Her lack of self worth is so so alarming.

there is nothing wrong in thanking though. She might have lead to him do what he did but it is ultimately he who decided to separate.

Prerna goes by face value.. She's so dumb she'll never figure out if the communication comfort she shares with him has other motives or not. A woman like her may remain forever in oblivion and live in her happy bubble. (just like s1 prerna who never got to know/believed what all kaand bajaj did). From her perspective may b she'll feel Bajaj will be the right man for her but from 3rd person's perspective who knows in and out of characters doings will feel this kind of hubby-wife relationship is all a sham

ITV loves showing women fighting over that precious commodity, a man, and the audience sees it as sassiness and self respecting.

But when it comes to the men in her life,Prerna is and will remain a gungi gudiya..

It's interesting how while Pakistani shows can be as regressive as the Indian one's, they manage to write female characters that you can empathise with and root for.

I understand what you're trying to say here. But my post was about the two processing what they've just been through. They go through these huge hurdles in life, and they barely speak about it. I would even be okay with the humor as a deflection if a conversation followed with that. But there's no depth to their conversations like it used to be. Talking about interests and perspective add a dimension to a relationship because it lets you know how the other person operates. After Naveen track, I saw just a little bit of Prerna talking about her decision but then Mishka came into the picture, then Komolika. We all know what happened with Komolika. There was never any meaningful conversation shared by the couple after Komolika left and literally the day after Bajaj was introduced . to the plot. If the couple doesn't want to keep making the same . mistake, they have to talk about why they had . made the mistake . and what they can do to change the direction next time. But instead of Anurag and Prerna talking about this . big sacrifice, how Prerna must have felt living under the safe roof as a stranger, acting mom to a child, we see Anurag saying "you're lucky I didn't give up on you?". I don't want either of them to make light of the situation, I don't want big promises, and filling maang with sindoor, I want honesty and volunerability and actually showing that there is trust between them. Saying and doing are completely different things.

Nobody wants stupid promises anymore , at least talk something relevant sometimes...kzk fails badly in this department , her other serials are much better..the heroine is shown conversing with her sister , family, friends , children...supporting cast are equally important and good...they discuss what's going on in her life and she shares her grief frequently...in kzk its given that it's only shown from anurags POV.. till komo track both had monologues. It was not a problem with mr bajaj around as prerna went into mute mode..but now what ? Bajaj said they will marry the next day she agreed ? She didn't ask him why he tried to kill anurag ?(he loves her..she is blind to see that ) , all that she thinks about is haldi mehendi phere ghodi barat..

Of course that's how Rishab Bajaj is designed. Unapologetically manipulative and self-centered to the core. He cares about a handful of people and will burn the world for them. For me it's better than expecting your love to solve every problem for him. It's good for you didn't watch these scenes, they literally destroys Anurag's whole character build-up. 👍🏼

Of course that's how he is written as a character. Even I was saying the same thing. The point you mentioned that he cared about a handful of people... I agree to some extent if I think about kuki as he burnt 3 lives for her sake. But the same kuki wasnt a consideration when he refused for a bail in Anurag's accident case. She wasn't a consideration when he was about to kill Anurag and kuki saw him. So that's the whole point that he is a selfish mamipulative person who gives respect to someone according to his agenda.

Regarding Prerna you didn't say anything in reply to what I said so I won't say anything further too.

How much I hated Anurag saying they shall share everything between them from now on without any secrets and the next moment he goes saying Prerna slowly, let me do all the talking today, when she clearly tells him she wants to tell something he needs to know. That was so out of place 😆

I was actually surprised to see that they made Anurag say he knew the truth of Bajaj Prerna marriage to Prerna, i thought even that would be shoved under the carpet like other innumerable points.

But then, the same Anurag has always listened to her n number of times since beginning. Sadly, according to the oh so (un)creative writers, this is how kasauti pops up in their life - they need to be turned fools out of their character whenever it pops up. What can this show even offer 😆

But, tbh, i love the way Anurag and Prerna are, the happiness on their face while with each other = sukoon, the pain of being away from each other, that angst - they are worth watching with whatever little the show has to offer of them, the reason I am still here 🤗

The writers of this show have zero respect for their characters and the people watching this show or they are bipolar😆

I no longer watch but caught a few clips on twitter and Bajaj has gone from a wannabe murderer to a congenial uncle doing all the wedding arrangements and forget Prerna,all the Basu's including Anurag have completely forgotten that and are I am sure going to be singing "for he is a jolly good fellow" as Bajaj bids adieu😆

@Bold - she always spoke upfront with him, right from her demand to not invite basus and sharmas to wedding to simple wedding, she always put her foot down with Bajaj , she talked to him, fought with him , accused him, blamed him (yes out of misunderstanding in veena's case and in the jail track) she judged him, she passed judgements (sent him to jail), understood him, for once when Bajaj was aloof and stopped talking to her she was restless and broke down saying you all have easy ways of letting out while she didn't, she poured her heart out about not be able to talk abt her feelings

Munni I respect your views but in my opinion whatever instances youv e mentioned, all of them really don't include the desires what a girl Prerna wants at heart. They're like a compromise in PreRish wedding case when she didn't wanna inform anyone while other cases it was related to her mother. So these can't be actually compared to what I was saying. For eg she was married to Bajaj with all the rituals mehendi mantras etc... but was she happy.... NO that time despite her wish of a complete wedding getting fulfilled she wasn't happy. But tday with Anurag she becomes that childish bak bak wali Prerna who was killed since she married him. That's what I meant in my comment. She is a simple middle class girl who had those simple desires which she expresses only to Anurag isn't that important? I feel these things show who is on her heart.

countless times she told Bajaj that she loved and cared for Anurag and she cannot live without him and took multiple promises from him that he wouldn't harm Anurag... what was all that ?? isn't that communication and talking freely .. wonder if any wife will have this open communication with her husband where she can proclaim and claim her love for someone else and reiterate time and again .
Each time she met Anurag she talked or tried to talk to him,.. that's a diff point that Bajaj was uncomfortable with this subject... I wonder if Anurag can take this open communication from Prerna when she says something about Bajaj ... or if Prerna will be able to speak about Bajaj to Anurag with such frankness and openness ...
I feel that was bcoz she was being true to Bajaj right from the time the deal was accepted. She didn't promise anything she couldn't give him like loving him. She talked to Bajaj only when she had to talk about Anurag's safety which was the most important thing for her. That was her basic clause of the deal which if she saw him breaking ... she always raised her voice.

Regarding Anurag taking same thing from Prerna about Bajaj I'm sure he won't bcoz theirs won't be a marriage based on the deal of saving Bajaj. Only if this marriage happens which itself is a question mark for now. 🤪

Bajaj on the other hand , never ever stopped her from talking except the instances where she wanted to talk about Anurag ...but that to he heard , he never judged her always heard her out to the extent .. "aap jaise chaahti waise hi hoga"
Apart from them talking about Anurag's safety or kuki I don't know about much scenes where they communicated as I never watched any ... So I presume whatever you're saying might be correct. But as far as written update is concerned I myself don't know many instances where Prerna talked much to him. So I won't comment on this.

Exactly these 2 can never be compared bcoz the relationships base and progress is different. AnuPre lack of communication is meant to progress the show in terms of bringing new kasautis everytime. As Parth had said in an interview that if Anurag and Prerna talk to each other the show would end. So that's the writers way of bringing kasautis. While PreRish was one of the Kasauti to seperate AnuPre and in future too if Bajaj comes back it would be the same and might be even better. So the difference between them is how the writers want to stretch the show.

Momentary happiness and peace is nice, but life is not rosy tainted and glossy , the moment a storm hits, communication or lack of it comes in to play !

I agree with you here but again that's when we talk about real life.... which is far far away from this show altogether.
