Hirani is for masses, Kashyap is for aedas like me.

Hirani's strength is showcases the best sides of the human nature which makes his movies a great escape from reality and hence they are so massively popular(barring Sanju).

Anurag's strength while also his weakness why his movies don't do well in box office is he shows the worst side of human beings. People already have so.much negativity in life, they cant stomach it.
