Neglect of Prerna led to all this

I actually believe that one of the reasons why story is suffering so much is because of the CVS utter carelessness towards Prerna's character.At this point in the show she's nothing more than a plot device.Even if I don't compare season 1 or ejf's previous show, Prerna as a character is very under utilised.No wonder the TRPs keep fluctuating more than PreRish/AnuPre it's Prerna's character.ITV audiences r mostly women and the character Prerna as a woman has completely lost connection with the audience.They can't root for her bcoz they don't know what exactly she wants or what she stands for.Take her pregnancy for example, its supposed to be the most important phase of a woman's life and here at times she barely remembers it.Why didn't she tell Anurag about the baby, when they got engaged?The least the CVS could've done was to make Prerna say the reason behind keeping this pregnancy a secret in her head if she couldn't say it out loud!

Another great example of underutilization of Prerna's character has to be the Komolika track.She could've done so much there. I've been saying this since the beginning this track is just a repeat of Komolika track with swapped places.Just look at the difference.I am not justifying what Anurag did but I am talking about intent.i believe one of the reasons why people felt for him even when he was so terribly butchered was bcoz since day 1 he was clear that he wants to throw Bajaj out of Prerna's life and his actions reflected his words.All Prerna did was to throw a few sassy remarks here and there, she believed her marriage to be real but did nothing to throw Komolika out or EVEN establish her rights or her child's rights at BB. I won't credit her for revealing Komolika's true face coz she was literally handed it on a silver platter by Vikrant.(Thats another thing did the CVS ever hear of a thing called buildup?).

My biggest beef with this track was that this is LITERALLY the same track as last year.Whether or not people think Bajaj and NB are same/different but for me it's the same Prerna as last year- she put her life in the hands of a man she barely knew for something/someone she loved. In 1 yr she didn't understand that there's no need to fulfill her end of the promise when the ppl on the other end are legit exploiting your weakness! Why couldn't she get Anurag out, team up with him and then try to get out of this deal/blackmail? Bajaj was a business shark not a criminal, exactly how badly could he have harmed them? And wasn't Prerna supposed to be a fearless character or something? Honestly all her other characteristics like empathy, forgiving nature ,kind heart falls short in front of the shoddy writing.She comes across as a woman who can be easily swayed, who's bull headed, delusional (Mohini hates her bcoz of the halwa kaand?!) and impulsive.She kinda reminds me of Daisy Buchanan from Great Gatsby.

I don't mean to trash her character or anything but my point is the only way to pull up TRPs is to fix Prerna's character,give her some more depth I mean she has suffered the most in the story, yet character graph is so stagnant! For Kzk2 Prerna Finding love was her dream ,then at least show fighting for that love no matter what or who is sacrificing, only then can ppl find some reason to root for Prerna or root for this show

I see your point and I do agree Prerna's character hasn't been written with justice. Vikrant handed her evidences against Komolika on a silver platter and paid the price for it.

True.. If they didn't make Pre behave like a robot this track would have worked.. But they played ping pong with Pre and the audience rejected that.. Moreover they showed Pre showering motherly affection to another kid and didn't show her behave like pregnant woman who is a bit concerned about the baby inside her.. This was a major goof up..

Prerna is truly the worst written female lead ever in all balaji shows and I've been saying this for quite some time. The way they're busy catering to ML fans and neglecting the FL... trp audience don't accept this. Worst handled is her pregnancy and her accepting a stranger child and not even once thinkingabout her own. So that's where she loses connect with the trp audience. Most rather all women in real world would love their own child above any other stranger child. I'm not saying she shouldn't have loved kuki but at least thinking about her unborn child isn't too much to ask for.

The writers have totally messed up Prerna's character this time.

The worst part is she is not even thinking about these things which we say are important , it's not important to her ? What could be worse than this?

She is beautiful😒 other than that she is nothing here.

She is magnet which attracts problems in anurags life she is nothing here.

She is virus mom other than nothing here.

She is bajajs precious cheez other than nothing here.

She is anurags half heart other than nothing here.

She is sharmas daughter other than nothing here.

She has brains but it wont work otjer than nothing here.

She is kukis highly paid caretaker mother other than nothing here.

But both anurag and bajajs supporters want prerna with them other than nothing here.

Pre's character has been brutally played with just to fit nonsense tracks.

Like she had gone completely dumb and insensitive after Bajaj entry. I can say Anu also acted quite out of character during kom track; him allowing pre to be jailed is what I remember, but they did redeem him with monologues, showed him staying overnight in jail. These are what connected us viewers to the true intentions of the character.

But for Pre, it seems the writers never give her intent. They should notice, the more they make her robotic and submissive, more the ratings tank.

I have been telling this since quite some time. The makers didn't do their homework of at least deciding the character traits and graphs and then sticking to it for the show.

In some episode she says she only loves Anurag and in the next episode why doesn't she answer his Qn. about her actions. Why doesn't she approach the one she loves to help her out??

I seriously think that these CVs or story-writers are not the KZK1 ones or they are amateurs who have been such a big project to handle on trial basis !!!

I still dont get what’s the point of the hut scene and making her pregnant?

The hut scene was out of a place anyway!

Confession, accidental shaadi, consummation and conceived, all in one day! They broke all the record.. All that for nothing..

Can she now at least lose the child, bearing in mind they have never really showed any twist related to her pregnancy..

After all the trips & falls, marathon on Kolkata’s street, after the would be father dropped her on the floor like bag of potato, all the emotional and mental trauma, the child is still alive and kicking!
