If the dead K-pop artist were a Bollywood actor

How would you react? I mean given that we bash actors on a daily/hourly basis. Quite a few actors visit this site as well.

So if some Bollywood actor (hypothetically) commits suicide - someone you had bashed in the past, would you be able to make peace with the fact that you may also have contributed to his/her death?

Let me give an example. Like Sridevi used to get quite a few nasty comments even the week before her death. The same people suddenly melted and wrote long obituaries about her after her passing (I know it's a decent thing to do, but still......). And the cause of Sridevi's death was something else.

What if some star you bashed in the past couldn't bear to read all that and committed suicide. How would you react?

That is what i felt and posted in that thread. I felt suddenly if Ranveer...i can't even imagine..anything can happen..there will be a limit to bear so much hatred and negativity. What if he or anyone even read these forums? I hope and pray people write with enough sensitivity.

I would hope that celebrity didn't read any of my forum comments here to begin with( unless it's Kangu who's sister's posts are just as toxic as some of the posts in here).

Celebs need to develop thick skin and stop reading comments.

That is the advise given to them by their celebrity managers. Its for their own good.

Society is shit that way.

ponymo you are the one who bashes the most, saying sallu can't have kids, wishing gay wishes...you bash members as well who you hurt their feelings and don't even know about it. Please don't talk about hurting others feelings when you do the most on here.

@bold: not me, cyberbullies ka 24/7 job hai ye.

1.RIP (no emotions involved here)

2.find a new celeb to target.

3.spread negativity, spew venom against them.

4.keep on target them till celebs give up on their life.

5.RIP again

6.repeat step 2. (tedious job)

one day we/our beloved ones will be there in the receiving end, then we realize we live in a wicked, cruel world.

There are celebs who insult and abuse fans too. So both should be blamed and made to feel guilty for doing so. Social media is the worse and forums too where people talk crap and get away with it.

I would think that the dead celeb is too sensitive to be celebrity.

Speaking for myself, I have not bashed anyone that harshly that it would induce them to take their own life.

The ones who make such vile, hateful comments are not to be taken seriously. I'm sure celebs know that.

There is a very thin line between constructive criticism & downright being nasty, trolls,a bully who curses the celebs even when they breath.

However the environment of K pop, K media is different from what we see in Bollywood or Desi media.

Here, you can even get away after being accused of rape/cheat/killing people off . The industry would come to support you, white wash you,like you are some Mahan atma ever stepped on this earth. Where in K-media,even if by mistake some rumour break out,they won't even consider you for anything ever,they'd cut you even from your on going schedule,end your contract,throw you out of the company. Even if you're proven not guilty,it's end of your career.

While BW actors have it easy - be it through connection,through various way,nepotism etc, K pop stars train themselves since their elementary school days,away from home,living in dorms,growing with people they don't know,truly restricted from anything n everything,working their asses of yet uncertain,if they'd ever debut.

& if they do,they can't date,can't roam freely,have to apologise even if they breath or sigh loudly,then there is anti & company who can make you do & use you the way they want to.

After going through all of these,when someone read distasteful comments,accusation & have to apologise for something didn't say or do, it's hard for them.

Bashing/trolling is never right. Having fun & making fun is 2 very different thing. Expecting others to behave while you don't behave yourself is nothing but hypocrisy.

So,yes,BW is much different than what K-industry is. They have it the hardest way. That being said, one should never push someone to their limits,celebs or not.
