If Prerna Sharma is no one, I wonder why two men are so hell bent on being with her, wishing she stays in their lives. I am not saying Prerna is an ideal girl, she isn't, she is decades behind the actual women in today's era. If she's left alone it'll be very hard for her to survive on her own. But I am someone who would always back up with a person to try and see the little goods in them. So for prerna, she's a woman who has been played a lot, be it anu or bajaj but she's too emotional to give it back to them.

I know fandoms here do a character assassination of her every now and then but come on, unlike Male leads she never does anything to hurt ayone she never purposely thinks bad about/for anyone. She's a woman who though makes terrible decisions, is dumb but would always do anything within her reach to help people in her life. You can't disagree with that.

So the bottom line is, in my opinion, Prerna is a human being, good at heart. I don't think there's any one else in the show who doesn't think of cunning plans and how to hurt other people but Prerna so in humanity score she wins.

Well dude in today's world having a good heart is not enough, you need the brain to think where should we apply that good heart! And if she so good heart then why did she came to Basu House as Anurag's wife, when he got married to Komo. With such a good and pure heart, she should have given them her blessing and start a new life, stand up on her own feet atleast! But no at that time it was all about my self-respect, my husband! Now what happened to all those? Or is that she only use this when it suits her?

Prerna may have no identity of her own, no career plans, no ambitions... But is tht all tht defines a character of someone who is above all a human?

There are many woman in India who chose to be caregivers and nurture their families with their love and dedication. Many woman choose to be a housewife or give up on their careers for their families... Choose to be a homemaker... Are they no one?

Prerna is a character who is played around the most in this show... Yet her heart is filled with compassion for all. Doesn't that make her a good human?

And to answer who is prerna... She is a human who deserves a chance towards her happiness... She is a girl who aspired for love over career. And i will not judge her over her choice.

No..for the first time i disagree...prernas mom is a working housewife. She doesn't go out to work but she used to earn from.home ..she was self employed. Nothing wrong in being a housewife either, Nothing wrong in being mohini too 🤣 but imo her identity and the only problem I have with her that she holds no opinion of her own. She just agrees to whatever people say without thinking , She makes her judgements quickly and changes them with the blink of eye..Like a blindfolded person haath pakadke kahin bhi chala do.....anurag said so and so she either believes him or totally disbeliefs. Bajaj said so and so she either totally believes him or totally not believe..there is no middle way where she uses her brain to "analyze " what may be right..May be something which doesn't meet her eye..look beyond the obvious sometimes ...She is hardly shown using her brain and when she does its a disaster anyways...tell me one decision of hers which was beneficial to the concerned party or her...She doesn't have any personality of her own...before you tell me about her sassy avtar? There also she didn't believe anurag till the time she chanced upon some proofs..till the end she was thinking "why would komolika do this to me "? ..

At least anurag, after initially not trusting her , found a way to reach to her..yes a wrong one , a frustrating one, he pissed her all the while to get the answers but he did discover that prerna loves him only , she married bajaj for a reason..his focus was her alone...but all that sassy prerna did was to boss around bb aimlessly doing nothing but cooking that too for mohini and taunting the ladies and anurag ....

I can answer what she is not better than who she is:

she is not family oriented - Otherwise she would take her family along for the ride, provide for them, made something of herself just to et her family out of trouble

She is not principled - she gets swayed easily and is very biased which is probably the only human thing about her - we will always prefer those we care for even if they are wrong and try to protect them

She is not mature but neither is she immature

she is not intelligent, she is not smart

she is not interesting, strong or dignified

she is not nuanced or has any layers

She is not religious, maybe a soul-worshipper (if thats a thing or a nouveau religion)

She is not simple - that lady loves her creature comforts

She is not a model for self-respect, self-love, self-healing

she is not ambitious - that is purely her choice and truthfully very few people are truly driven, so thats fine... but she's not driven towards marriage and husband either. She doesn't have any respect for the institution - naveen ke saath non-mariage, sui-dhaga marriage and bajaj marriage - 3 relationship, utter failures. Now Naveen was a villian but Pre was a villain for Anulika. they may be the heroes of their own lives but they are villians too for others.

she does not have any shades to her character - its just colourless and reverts back to that at the end of every track. Colourless and matterless...

she is not capable of making healthy decisions

she is not assertive, she screams and throws a tantrum like a 3 year old or silently takes brick bats to her character

she is not sensitive to situations, has no instincts

She is not maternal - Kukki and her own child being case in point. She keeps putting her unborn in danger and keeps kukkie to sleep (that is not how you rear a child)

She is not a good lover - Her love only brings pain in the lives of those who have the misfortune of loving her and being loved by her

In short she is Karmas and Writers perfect weapon to wreck havoc in any track!

But tht doesnt defy her goodness. I tch at college level and i come across a lot of naive girls who see world thru coloured glasses. They r innocent and at times pay the price for being innocent but i cant hold their naivety against them. They come from protective backgrounds. They are not exposed to the cruel world. Remember when anupre were stuck in riots it was this naive prerna who thot she cud talk it out with rioters. It may be dumb but tht is wht prerna was... She doesnt think in complicated fashion... She thinks simple... I have seen girls at the age of 16 getting married.. I do see girls falling in wrong relationships and then suffer coz of it... Pre is also paying the price of her mistake but when she was facing adversity, her mind cudn't and was never capable of playing games.

She was taught marriage and rituals are important but then there was a prerna who helped her friend to elope for love... Tht pre who knew to fight for love and think with heart is facing a constant war between her heart and mind. She is eventually 22-23 and is pregnant... Devoid of support and trapped... Its nt easy on her.

And if u notice its only this track tht pre has gone silent... The girl who fought for love now when she gave up on the same love, she finds no reason to fight anymore.

Yes..This I agree with..nobody is bad at heart ..still that doesn't make an interesting character on screen.... . I personally am over critical when it comes to the heroines,i hardly like any female character unless they have spunk , rightly placed and a no nonsense person..I am ok with tulsi and anandi etc types also as they had their strengths..Prerna fails in every department..I understand prerna is no sonakshi Bose.. but ekta did a horrible job with her this time.. with prerna..They are trying to show a love story as the beginning and end of ones life ....This ain't laila majnu level..how can a girl be so blind to her own family and her own child and consider only anurag as her life ? .. it's not about being career oriented too..point is , her focus isnt on anything except anurag that looks so abnormal

She is a pushover. Extremely innocent and good at heart, but utterly confused and indecisive.
