I'm noticing a theme here which is respecting women, especially your wives. Sarthak and Malhar won't screw over their wives for anything in the world, especially to save themselves. Kaka will defo spill the truth if it means Anu will be saved.

I think Bapji thinks Malhar is like him cause he's sankari, old fashioned and this angry young man. But Malhar, even at his worst, has never insulted/treated women the way Bapji does.

He's horrible to Swara, Kalyani and even Aswari. He's a selfish man that think daughters are a burden, wives exist to serve him and bahus are replaceable.

But Malhar is nothing like that. Look at the way he even treated Sampada with basic respect and dignity after she screwed him over.

This false belief is what is making him think that Malhar will choose his flesh and blood over his in laws and extended family.

I totally agree with you here. Apart for the intiatial phase where he was angry with Kalyani, I have always seen him be respectful towards her. And I love that. Despite his trust issue during Ketki's drama, he was hurt but not angry. So despite the recent drama about Swara, I'm sure that he won't play the blame game anymore. And I have noticed, BaapJi's misbehavior has been clearly obvious since Malhar scolded Kalyani for the ghungroo thing.

Maybe that's where he got an idea to manipulate Malhar. I also remember that during the asthma attack scene, Asawari told Ahir to take Malhar away, and he was actually moving until Baapji opened his mouth. 🤦🏻‍♀️ I hate this man. But I also know that all this won't affect our MalharJi anymore. 😊 He truely believes her now.
