Taapsee should calm down and focus on her job. She is neither a starkid who can say any shit and get away with it, nor has she established herself well enough to let this not affect her. The likes of Kangana could afford to become a shit stirrer only after she had reached a certain level in her career, and Taapsee isn't there yet.

The controversy will die out on its own. Her kneejerk responses will only prolong it and irritate people.

Well either she can fight it out or quit. She needs to take the criticism fairly, evaluate it on it's merit rather than ego. She can take it as learning experience and improve her acting.

Why will you quit Tapsee, you had Akki at first and now Anurag Kashyap who will get roles for you, Anurag was even willing to fight Kangana for you.

She is actually raking publicity from it. This issue was never about her. When Neena Gupta initiated this talk about ageism, she only wanted her to be considered for roles that suit her age.

Obviously Neena Gupta cannot be considered for a 20-30 yr old even if she wants to but at least when the role requires 60 plus yes, consider them for the role.

The issue was sidelining actresses as and when they reach a particular age bcoz of their "age". that's ageism. Why are actresses sidelined once they reach a certain age, that was the question asked.

Where did Tapsee come in this is beyond me.
