Sandhya ji is a brilliant actress. She was so amazing in her conversation with irfan.

The realization as to why Irfan was here, broke her.

He did stand in front of her like a shield today, and I got so many feels, because the last time it happened was also in this mohalla, right? She was "fatherless" and fighting all her battles alone because no one was there to help her, but today her father was there and he stepped in time. How far they've come!

It looks like they are going to focus on her anger issues, and I hope they show the psychological aspect of all this in a sensitive manner.

I am not in favor of violence but I can't tell you how much sukoon I felt when Minnie hit Khatri and then HS grabbed him by the collar and threatened to teach him a lesson.

@bold, he already did that today but maybe she was too angry to notice. I think they will do something more explicit about how he leads by example. These are the little things that will add up to him really being there for her as a father should. He looked so surprised when he walked into the room wondering what had happened to Minnie.

Maybe she will. College studies halwa nahi hoti. Not so easy. Maybe she will learn to focus on herself or her future the hard way. Then again, she didn't learn from the entire admission ordeal when she skipped the entrance exam for the photography competition.

Yassss! You're right.

Hannie together in any scene are always on fire. HS wanted to bash Khatri so badly; some residual anger from the marriage too, I'm sure. Khatri eyes his wife and daughter too much for our thanedaar to ignore.

She did not want to talk to Ashok because thats the only way she knew she had..

When you get a woman married into your household, she becomes your responsibility. if you are not responsible for her, stop expecting her to take care of you as well because you if you are washing your hands off the responsibility, you do not have any rights either..

What makes Ks evil is that they let their daughter in law be shabbily treated by their daughter..

But that's world. Unless you don't speak up for yourself, no one will care shit about you let alone in laws. Expecting Ks to think about Babita so much when she herself isn't saying anything is unrealistic.

Or maybe we're looking too much into it because PB has spoilt us in this manner. 😆

I think we're reading into it too much. I don't think Irfan is absolutely horrible. He's just looking after his own needs right now, not what he's making his own mother go through.

Did you notice one extremely important line in Minnie's rant: that since she was a 4 or 5 year old she began to forget her own tears in order to wipe her mothers' tears. Minnie is finally articulating, albeit spontaneously, some of what's troubling her, the fact that she feels burdened. She has never done that before. The way she walked out of the haveli showed she was not just angry because of this fight with Babita, but that she was just fed up of having to be her mother. Well, Minnie has to learn to let go of Babita to an extent too. She can't invest so much energy in her while draining herself. It's unhealthy.

I am beginning wonder if there's anything deeper behind why Babita cares so much about what people will say, something that may have been embedded in her psyche from a young age. The face that the words of someone like Khatri, who she knows is a vile man, can get to her is unsettling.

@Bold - I felt bad for her there. It Happens with the kids whose mother’s are under confident, timid personas.

Her analogy about Karate was so apt. I wish writers focused on that more and not give her dialogue like Lovely dil ki buri nahi hai. I mean you can’t just excuse vile people like lovely so easily.

He's being hard core selfish. As expected, he wants his Ammi to come with him and be a nanny to Immu so that Ruksana can earn better. He wants to sell the house to earn quick bucks. He's extremely short sighted.

He's wrong cause he didn't bother to consider his own Ammi's feelings. Him being desperate to sell the house is typical heartless son. Also he was so rude! I want HS to know about this and beat him up 😡

Nigodaa Irfan!

Its not if we think about it from decency point of view.. Chalo maan lia.. Babita was not their responsibility.. They needn't say anything for her

Lekin Lovely was their responsibility na? why did they not stop her when she was doing wrong? When she was churning out poison? her upbringing was their responsibility na? Why did they not stop her from doing wrong? Why did they let their daughter become a horrible person?

Don't apologize; rant away!

It was really disheartening to see Naeem Bi lay out exactly what he wanted to do. We know that Naeem Bi is extremely and sees through everything. But this is her own child who's plotting against her. Her own khoon who wants to take her back as a nanny, not as a mother or grandmother. And then the audacity Irfan had to threaten Naeem Bi! First he used Imraan as a tool to get her to obey him and then when that failed, he straight up told her that I have a claim to this home too and that he'll take it from her forcibly... ufh! Aisa beta Naeem Bi ka kaise ho sakta hai??

HS is through and through Naeem Bi's beta. All the good qualities, courage to remain optimistic, all the wisdom and maturity - he got it all from her.

Seriously, how did NB's son turn out like this?

The whole dil ka rishta vs. (overrated0 khoon ka rishta is a recurring theme on this show but this is the worst I've felt in a long time on the show.

I'm not saying the Khuranas deserve to be thrown out of their house because of Ashok, but someone like NB doesn't deserve any of this at all. I can't believe Irfan threatened her! He didn't even care that she had all her memories associate with the house. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh!

I just realized how protective I have become of her. The way she sat with her head in her hands, as if she had lost everything. All the sacrifices she must have made to give her son a better life, living away from him in the knowledge that he was prospering, no matter how hard it was for her, missing her grandson... all for what? Ye din dekhne ke liye?

@bold I completely agree, in some ways he's a spitting image of her. It was blatantly obvious, especially in the pre-cap. He is doing what NB would have expected him to.

I know I am asking for too much, but I would love at least one scene where HS and NB relive his growing years and interaction with NB, especially after his mother passed away. I hope he wraps her in a bear hug and tells her he's there for her, she's not alone, she's his mother. The writers are so smart - they put in those little moments recently, like him asking her not to eat so much sweet stuff, or complaining about having to go to the tailor's for her or pulling her cheeks. I also think that because I love HS so much, I love NB even more. In many ways, she made him what he is today.
