It hurts when ....!

It hurts when DD /GC or even the other memebers of GHSP doesn't mention about GHSP as their best work. When almost all their name and fame came from this serial. I just get shocked when DD mentions herself as Madhubala ....the character she thinks her best work . So she gets characters like Madhubala. The tortured housewife. After GHSP she got not a single challenging character. All her characters are like Madhubala. Was Madhubala hot? No. Was she funny? No. Was she a rebel? No. She was a very pathetic stupid character. If DD was not there I would never watch that rubbish serial.

Same goes with GC. He mentions only about PV, Ramayan or those crap flop shows even PPW too. What was so exciting about those serials? Nothing. He played a married man in all those shows. BW has no space for married man. So actors who played married man never get the chance to work as heroes in BW. When you present your CV you need to put the best work at first. When he presents all the crap shows he did, no wonder why he doesn't get chance in good role in Cinema. Now not even a role! 🤢

When I watch the old episodes of GHSP I just get shocked. E very little work was best in this serial. Best story, best direction, best dialogue, best back ground music, best comedy, best light effect, best camera , best costumes etc..........there were so many things to watch in this serial. Today I was missing GHSP, such a great work of TV industry. Can't remember I have ever saw such a great work in TV were every single person was in their best best form. Even the most ordinary and short character worked best here.

I wish they could act professional. Reunite and make more great serials like GHSP. But alas! GHSP kind of awesome serial will never come to TV ever.

I have listned to GC many time mentioning about Geet along with PV. Ramayan was his first big show so it will always be special . And ramayan and PV are no Flop! In terms of TRP and household audience these are way ahead than Geet. If you followed these shows you would know. PV is very famous in south africa renuion islan and many country along with India. For zee tv it was no 1 show for many week. So its wrong to compare other show with Geet. They have their own specification. If a show is not famous in young audience that does not mean show is flop!

And GC has mentioned about geet many time. This geet anniversary he put a story. We cannot always pin point an actor they are frre to do what they want

I specifically follow GC and ramayan was my fav. Your some statement i found incorrect so thought to share my input.

Punar Vivah was a huge hit. I remember Palak birthday episode get highest trp also pv is loved world wide. Gurmeet is heartthrob of South Africa because of only pv, people love him there as Yash scindhia. He still went there time to time for stage shows.

Stop being so delusional that you people made him, no he was popular house hold name as Ram and till today media call him as TV ka Ram.

And how you know he is not getting film? Do you follow him no, I do on sm and I know how much he love his all shows, you need to watch his ivs. His recent movie was paltan which is on real war of 1967. his character was full entertaining from brave to flirt.

Does Yash kind of character exists in BW movies? How many married couple movie comes in BW and how many of those get a hit?

Dangal was a story of papa and daughter. Can GC do that? No.

Sui Dhaga was a married couple story too. But does Yash suit there? No.

Tanu weds Manu returns had a hit unmarried story at first.

Who makes Ramayan in BW this days ?

Even Karan Johar mentioned that.

And I don't think any argument is needed as result is in hand. All those who worked as single guy in TV serials are getting more chances in BW than GC. Even worse actors than him are getting more success. It is proved. GC with talent and skill got no success in BW. Forget about success he is out of work now. What a waste.

GHSP didn't fetch them trps...they didn't dub this show in all the languages of India and telecast it...and they didn't even air it in a big channel,not a big budget show,the actors just got 1 award,god they didn't even get designer dresses to wear in the show😭just few fans of that show are bugging for their comeback and praising this show telling that it is the actors' best show..tell me how can the actors who did "super hit,high trp gaining,world popular shows" keep on talking about such a small show like GHSP?😉They can only mention about GHSP once or twice dear...you can't expect them to always tell about GHSP na?..they have many other popular and their own favorite shows to mention 😛

One thing dear...Maaneet..these two characters didn't get life just coz of the actors alone...a lot of people's work and effort made these characters as iconic chars...from the writers,designers,dialogue writers.,camera man,director,actors,the entire team...everyone's hard work is our show GHSP!

BEST things in the world happens for only once...cherish it as much as u can...don't expect it to happen again..coz it won't be the same😃

This makes me more upset. They had the best team. Star one was a great channel. The problem was that at that time there were lots of politics and many good channel got less trp and some were shut down. I don't really care much about GC or DD either. As now after watching them out of GHSP I am also understanding what miracle that CV made. I wish they could be together again and make more beautiful; serials they used to make in Star One.

I loved GHSP in its first episode. The way Channi was running in the field and those fanatics came and killed her ....that initial scene made me shiver. There was no DD nor GC in that scene. It was just good writing and excellent direction and yes they were the best CV of TV industry. ❤️ I saw the same Birji in other serials too. But he didn't do the magic of fear he created in GHSP. So that CV was the best. I don't really want GC and DD together. I want that creative team together... the brain and talent behind the camera together. Hope we could see some really good serials in TV.
