@Bold: This honestly didn't make sense to me, esp how we have been shown Ashok. The way he behaved with Babita in court, and later with Meeta. Honestly, it felt like Babita was talking about a completely different person and not the Ashok we have known 🤔. I guess for the sake of drama, writers completely made Ashok out and out vile and evil, which they might not have intended when they first wrote the character.

Me personally, I don’t really care either way. Babita ka endless devolving has made me indifferent now. lol jo karna hai, nahin karna hai, karte rahein.....next second sab negate ho jaata hai as per writing convenience 🤷‍♀️

Everyone else is thinking did they have sex or not and I’m thinking they still don’t see the skewed nature of this relationship and the lack of a true partnership....all got brushed under the carpet mostly....cuz Babita’s issue will be a constant.

As for Ashok, I guess they are keeping their options open for however they want to twist the drama. Today they wanted to show a different side to him to justify Babita’s low self esteem. Tomorrow they can suddenly make him an asshole again to justify him and HS fighting over Babita and Mini again. 🤷‍♀️😂

That’s true yaar, In reality shaadi ek Mahasagar hai Amruth man than to karna padta tai , kisi ek ko pati ho ya patni ho ek ko Shiv jaroor ban na padta hai until they get comfortable and understanding each other. Sadly to say in some cases until lifelong.

But this is the show so we need to bare only until they get comfortable each other .

With HS mini i feel even hanuman is acting distant not only mini. I dont know if he has accepted in his mind that he was wrong about blaming mini that she planted the CD and that she actually dint do it. Its his fault then. I understand mini acting distant because she is hurt as hanuman blamed her but why is hs acting so distant whereas he is the one who should be making the effort to make her understand. Does hanuman really need proof that mini dint play the CD. He is acting as if she is really the 3 rd wheel and just babitas daughter as if even if not father daughter they have no deep personal equation between them.

Regarding ashok that is how most arranged marriages are. You are married and in the beginning what ashok must have felt could have been a basic care and attraction towards babita not love. They did have some good moments like babia used to tell mini. The jhumkas and the dress he got for her. They even spent some good moments when mini was a baby. Somewhere down the years ashok might have got distant due to the out of sight out of mind thing as someone mentioned. Babita obviously in her own world failed to either see it or accept it. She lived in a la la land of how both she and ashok were sacrificing staying from each other for the sake of family. I remember ashok asking her when he was leaving before the EMA truth came out, if she could ever forgive him. So he did feel bad for cheating her. But babita left before he came back with mita and that is where his ego inflated. He wanted her to be that bechari wife whom he had hurt. Also mini sided with babita. The real nature of a person comes out when he is tested. Maybe babita never questioned or hurt ashoks ego so she never saw this side of his before in the limited interactions they had. The problem with ashok type people is they are good to you until you are a yes person to them once you dont do that they show their monster side which happened with mita too later on. He was good to her for all the years untill she agreed to him. later on he insulted her too like he did with babita in the court case. I dont think the CVS have been inconsistent with ashok. Most men have a monster inside them as hanuman said

I mean HS did look tired in the morning scene, and after that emotional conversation, its makes sense for them to do it. But who knows. I guess we will find out 😆.

@Bold - But didn't Mita say that in the beginning Ashok was gentle tender so different than what he is now, that she thought he understood her. But then Ashok character-assassinated Mita in front of everyone when he was angry (similar to humiliating Babita in court). People do change over time, at times radically opposite to what they were. Maybe Ashok was a little good, somewhat considerate, but got bored of maintaining the facade after getting comfortable with the two ladies.

@naq5 - Sorry, I didn't read your post before posting mine. You said the same thing as I did about Ashok.
