How iS First Episode Namah 👀 - Page 2

Honestly I didn't like 70-80% of the episode 🤔The enthrallment I felt while watching the promos wasn't there one bit until Kali's entry 👏. I know it is the first episode .... but my views are pertaining to the same only and not the show per se. So dekhte hai.

First things first...They all look the part and look stunning. The costumes, jewelry/accessories for each character, the way they carry themselves everything looks top notch. It has a natural flair .

THE VFX is good but can be better... In some shots the VFX looks a little jarring ...But shots of Kailash, Vaikuntha, Kali releasing scenes etc. looked phenomenal👏.

Vikas and Savi do have Chemistry ...which is the most important thing....Agar wo nahi then the show will never hold. They not only have good screen presence as NaMah but also in their Narayan and Mahadev get-up looks like a part of each other like the Montage depicts

What I don't like an STRONGLY OPPOSE and hope to not see is the caricaturish scenes to make a point or idea across 😵.

The whole Bird scene where Mahadev and Narayan tell each other who they are and what they mean to each other and the 50 odd times they called each other 'Mitr' shows they are trying TOO HARD which is totally unnecessary...(For heavens sake this is not Akshay Kumar and Bobby Deol's movie Dosti)

The whole Thorn scene - Mahadev is considered to be the epitome of a ROMANTIC and he is also Bholenath so where his concern, sensitivity and love comes from is quite understandable but these are Gods, showing them in the same wavelength as human's or reducing them into one is uncalled for. I am not saying show restrain and don't make them romantic or flirtatious but give it that flair instead of making it caricaturish like a regular on-screen jodi would do. The scene needs to be treated in a way that gives the out the Divya Prem vibe.

And it is really not necessary to blare devotional songs or mantras to make an impact or add flavor to the show....They need to tone it down a bit so that when it is used it makes an impact - Remember how Karpura Gauram used to play in DKDM?

I won't ever compare this show or any other show which has show Mahadev and Narayan with the ones in Devon Ke Dev Mahadev . EVER! Because what Mohit Raina and Sourabh Raj Jain did was beyond anything I have ever seen on TV in a long long time. And I personally feel that it a bar that cannot be touched and one shouldn't attempt to unless they are that confident that they can surpass what Raina and Jain did.

I ranted ...I know 🤣

VFX looks like a USP of this show. The visuals were treat to watch.😍

Ditto.... But you forgot to add the 'Chod do aanchal' scene between Narayan and Devi Lakshmi 🤣.

I don't mind seeing that in a regular show but in a mytho I prefer something more subtle yet romantic.

I get that we mere mortals don't have a guide book to understand Devi-Devt's Divya Prem....And what's being shown is the writer/director's interpretation but even then by doing it this way it's taking away it's essence of the whole Aura built around them.

Narayan's Shri Krishna avatar doing something like this is more easily acceptable.... I think it has to do with perceptions created long back of how God's and Goddesses must be on TV/Films etc. Having said kise patha such scenes could have actually happened.... But not being used to such scenes except if it's a Krishna Leela makes it hard to accept.

Hey.... I am not sure if what I am going to share will help solve your confusion or add to it... But here goes.... 🙂

Yes, Narayan did say that it's Sat Yug and that there's ample time for Kali Yug's arrival but the one thing that many of the highly logical and relevant mythological shows and books teach/tell us is that 'Samay' is beyond anyone's control even Tridev's.

It's existence is said and believed to be beyond anything and everything.. Even God.

BR Chopra's Mahabharat explains this wonderfully because Samay is shown as a prominent character/narrator in the series.

But this interpretation/fact call it anything; also paves way for several other questions as well the most important one being - How can the Tridev's not have control over time? But that's how it's always been depicted, written, shown.

So perhaps that's the reason why Kali broke free even though NaMah had said there's still time.

One of the recent episodes of Srimad Bhagavat Mahapuran also addresses the topic of Samay- and how it is not under anyone's control.

1st of all... Happy to watch a show about Namah(Narayan & Mahadev) fully based on their Friendship! How they always stands & solves, all issues of Universe without any ego 😎 I really appreciate the Crew of Namah for thinking such a Different concept..

Usually ppls may be devotees of either Narayan nor Mahadev! Sometimes they thinks one is higher than another one! But truth is both are same! Both are equal.. I always feels they are Great example for Good Friendship!

Well.. Coming to the episode..

Loved VFX & Kalyug's entry esp his act.. He gained a expectations from the viewers in a single episode itself..

Mahadev - Still I have Mohit Raina's vision in My mind ... Hope this show's Mahadev actor improves his acting skills lil more & proves himself as worth of playing the role.. But honestly.. He needs to bring a calmness a lot on his acting when it's comes to the role of Shiva ji.. But I still appreciate the acting & his efforts ..👏

Narayan - I think Creatives selected a Good Actor for this role.. He is good but still needs to improve a bit to be perfect.. But still love SRJ as Vishnu ji.. 😛

Shakti Maa & Lakshmi Maa - Oops! I think their make-up are looked heavy.. Hope these two also improves their acting skills a bit.. I felt like both actresses had some probs in delivering dialogues in a smooth way..

Brahma ji- Perfect 👏

I am not criticizing any Any actor's acting skills Personally.. But still I told My views as I really love this show's concept a lot.. & I don't want this beautiful concept to be unnoticed by viewers.. If actors are enough to impress ppls only, it will be interesting to watch & indulge on this show na.. So only saying..

Creative Team - Please don't bring some artificial romantic scenes between Gods!

They are Gods so please show some extra effort in Making scenes for them..!

I am watching the show because of Vabh & Ved Sir and Vidhhi Ma’am. I was intrigued with the promo they posted Namah on Instagram about the Friendship of Mahadev and Narayan.

I did like the VFX the visuals were beautiful I love the chemistry between the actors who portray Mahadev & Narayan. I am intrigued with the storyline.

Kalyug performance is awesome, I am intrigued how he will creat the deewar between Narayan & Mahadev! I wonder how did he land up in there.

Negatives:

I didn’t like was the heavy costumes and make up of Devi Shakti & Devi Lakshmi

I also didnt like Mahadev taking out the torn from Shakti’s feet and the Chod Do Aachal of Narayan and Lakshmi nope it doesn’t work that way. They are God and Goddness their romance should be subtle and enchanting. Not shown similar to normal ML & FL story.

Both the actresses are pretty hiding their beautiful faces behind tones of make-up is not a great idea.

And that humanly love scenes I guess makers are kinda obsessed with that. They spoiled a nice scene by showing putting hair strand behind the ear. I was like why what's the need.🤦
