Lol that's mostly because SRK has really bad chemistry with Katrina (common complaint regarding JTHJ, many SRK fans were disappointed) while with DP he works really well. They have natural chemistry

Do you agree with that at least? Some actors just don't "click" well

It wasn't just Salman Khan but he did help her at critical points and saved her career at least two times, once after Boom (debut disaster) and then again after multiple movies of her flopped with TZH.

Before that movie she had like 4 big flops in a row

TZH isn't Sallu's movie, it's YRF movie.

Bharat, she wasn't the first choice either.

and barring Sultan, every big money YRF movie in this decade till War, she was the first choice.

So? If Salman didn't want her in the franchise she would not be there. Stars like him still have that sort of power.

regardless of her career trajectory katrina would have been the 1st choice for TZH coz tiger-Zoya's chemistry was a huge hit in ETT

@BOLD that applies for every big star aamir can easily replace kareena in laal singh chadda.

Pc was there in Don 2 Srk could have easily replaced her if he she was a part of don 2 it doesnt mean SRK did any ehsaan on her

You seem to forget her character was an integral part of ETT. Salman should be praised because he supposedly allowed her to act in the sequel of her movie. You seem to forget that Katrina has always been close to YRF movies and Ali. Heck Sallu even went on record saying that it was Katrina who asked Kabir to take the ETT script to Sallu, after SRK cited dates issue. And no I am not saying Sallu got ETT(and his first YRF movie), because of Katrina, no not at all as YRF needed the recently resurgent Sallu more than he needed them, but that how Katrina had been involved with the franchise much before Sallu. Katrina has worked the most movies of her career with YRF, so it's not fair to suggest that since Sallu supposedly didn't object her being in TZH, so he is someone saved her.

But it's not like its some story & character driven franchise, the second part could have had a different female lead and still be a blockbuster. Salman doesn't need to rely on Katrina but she hasn't given a clean hit without him since 2013 (and that was a small role). That's the important part here and he deserves credit for this (not even a fan of most of his movies btw).

Also regarding Aditya and YRF..after Katrina rejected Gunday they weren't on good terms at all for quite some time so again they wouldn't have cared

None of those look as unique and hot as Katrina in her prime..like Vaani and Jacqueline look straight up lackluster in comparison (for an example). And you are right that Katrina has superior screen presence (+ is a good dancer). But saying her success has nothing to do with who she chooses to bang is silly imho, that's an important factor no doubt. She got more chances and opportunities than the others this way. And she came at the right time as well, no way would she be this popular if she debuted now when people are harsher.

Overall none of these actresses are known for their acting, including Katrina who could have improved but didn't care until last year which is disappointing. Her fan following is more because of her looks and dancing..than her performances. That's not a good thing
