The next morning Bhalla Sahab rang Mr Iyyer to tell him that they would come later in the evening to fix the alliance between Raman and Ishita. Mr Iyyer told his wife and they got busy in preparations. Meanwhile, Ishita and Mihika were busy in selecting their clothes and jewelry when Ishita got a call from Raman. She wondered where he got her number from and he reminded her that he had found her number from a call centre when Ruhi had a toothache midnight. She smiled at the memory and asked him why he had called. He requested her to meet him once before their marriage was finalised. She couldn’t refuse when he said it was important.

They were at the same coffee shop they'd met at when she had wanted to talk to him about giving Mihir and Mihika a chance at their relationship. Today Raman wanted to talk to her about Mihir and the fact that he was Shagun’s biological brother. He accepted that he was wrong to generalise women and that he had realised his mistake. Therefore, he would now endeavour to set things straight. At first, Ishita was shocked at hearing that Mihir was related to Shagun but when Raman told her that Mihir had broken all ties with Shagun, she felt assured.

Ishita came home and told Amma, Appa and Mihika about this and they felt slightly awkward considering the vile nature of Shagun and they sure as heck did not want to associate themselves with that woman but when Raman came over to their place, to apologise and give them the guarantee that Mihir was a genuine guy, they put their trust on him.

It was evening and the Iyyers had made preparations for the Bhalla’s to visit. The doorbell rang and Mr Iyyer went to open the door. He welcomed Raman, Simmi, Mihir and Mr and Mrs Bhalla into the house.

Ishita was in her room. She was feeling nervous about this new phase in her life. She got up from her bed hearing footsteps thinking it’ll be Amma asking her to come out to meet her in laws. She was confused to see Toshi ji standing at the door. Toshi ji asked if she could come into the room as Ishita smiled and arranged her bed so that Toshi ji could make herself comfortable.

“Ishita Puttar maine aaj din tak tujhse bahut si najayaz baatein kahin hain. Mera yakeen maan Puttar, main behad sharminda hoon. Tu ek bahut achi kudi hai. Rab tainu hamesha khush rakhein. Main tujhse waada karti hoon ke main tujhse waise hi pesh aaungi jaise Simmi ke saath. Agar tainu kaddi vi lagga ke main rough behave kar rahi hoon, toh mainu maaf kardena. Mera nature hi aisa hai Puttar.

Aur Simmi vi tujhse maafi maangna chahti hai…”

“Puttar aisi baat mat kar. Main tujhe sach mein beti samajhti hoon aur teri taqleef mujhse dekhi nahi jaati. Meri bachi apne aap ko taqleef mat de. Yeh mental block hata aur khush rehna seekh Puttar. Hum saare tujhse bahut pyaar karte hain. Tu pareshaan hoti hainaa, taqleef hume hoti hai. Yeh saari baqwaas nikaal apne dimaag se. Aur Ishita, shaadi mard aur aurat apne liye karte hain, kisi teesre ke liye nahi. Ruhi humaari bachi hai, aur hum sab usse pyaar karte hain. Lekin iss baat ka harghizyeh matlab nahi ke tu usse apni duniya banale. Tu aur Raman ek doosre ke saath khush raho. Mera Raman tujhe bahut izzat aur pyaar se rakhe ga. Main uski guarantee deti hoon. Tu kisi aur baat ki tension hi mat le.”
