Ishita smiled through her tears and said: “thank you, Raman.”

IshRa returned to their individual rooms where they found their fathers waiting for them.

“Appa, aap yahan? Mujhse koi baat karni thi toh mujhe bula liya hota, khamakha taqleef li aapne aise aake.”

Appa put his hand over Ishu’s head and spoke “Ishu mera bacha tum iss rishte se khush ho naa? Beta tumhaari khushi aur razamandi se badh ke mere liye aur kuch nahi hai. Tum inkaar karogi toh mujhe koi aitraaz nahi hoga.”

“Appa main bahut khush hoon. Ruhi jabse meri zindagi mein aayi hai, mujhe jeena agaya hai. Pehle toh bas saansein le rahi thi, ab jee rahi hoon. Thank you ke aapne mere liye yeh decision liya.”

“Ishu beta sirf Ruhi ki maa nahi banke rehna hai tumhe. Tumhaari shaadi hogi Raman se. Yeh ek life long commitment hogi… nibha paogi?”

Just then Amma came in.

“Amma-Appa main bahut insecure hoon apni infertility ko leke. Yahi baat hai ke iss rishte se jhijhak rahi hoon. Magar kuch der pehle Raman se jo baatein hui unse tassali mili ke unhe iss baat se farak nahi padhta. Ulta woh bahut progressive hain. Surprisingly, woh yeh relationship sirf Ruhi ke liye nahi banana chahte. Raman chahte hain ke humaara apna bond mazboot ho. Main khush hoon Appa. Thank you.”

Over at Bhalla House, Papa ji asked Raman if he was willing to commit to a life long relationship of love, trust, and respect with Ishita, moving on from the betrayal of his first wife. Raman assured his father that his ex-wife had no importance for him and he would give his best to his relation with Ishita. Bhalla Sahab took a promise from Raman that he would not just treat Ishita as the mother of his daughter and would give her the dignity of being his wife. Raman promised his father that he would never break this promise. Meanwhile, Toshi ji came in and sat beside Raman. She was deep in thought and Raman could understand that she was saddened thinking about how she had treated Ishita in the past. He told his mother that Ishita was insecure because of her incapability of becoming a mother. He requested his mother never to taunt Ishita because that would have a grave impact on her self-worth and he would never tolerate that. Toshi ji swore she would never do anything to hurt Ishita.
