Considering how extreme nationalists are getting & the current Kashmir situation..would Haider be even possible now?

Agreed, but sadly the extreme nationalism is only rising in India and they only want propaganda. I doubt even a Rang de Basanti would be made now without getting lots of backlash

Definitely. This ultra performative nationalism has taken over the minds of the citizens to such an extent that we're literally ignoring every failure of the government. Truth be told,Modi government has not succeeded in anything at all. Isnt that scary? An useless,inefficient government in power only cause of mass propaganda and an equally moronic opposition. Waiting for the day this country will have leaders who actually care about every single citizen and not play them against each other based on religion.

It's problematic for sure. You are literally called anti-national, "liberandu" etc. for not liking Modi's government even though they are doing nothing valuable (opposite is true with the economic slowdown).

And of course congress is a joke, Rahul made it easy for Modi
