Aishwarya wins best actress for Guru

Kareena Kappoor might have bagged Screen and Filmfare Awards this year but Aishwarya Rai is not far behind. She has been awarded as the Best Actress for Guru in The Fifth Annual Central European Bollywood Awards.

She has been appreciated for her outstanding work in Mani Ratnam's Guru . An elated Aishwarya says, "I am happy to be honoured by Annual Central European Bollywood Awards. It's like double celebration for me as my film Guru too has won Five Awards in different categories."

Mani Ratnam's Guru had 14 nominations in several categories out of which the film managed to win in categories like Best Script, Best Supporting Actor, Best Supporting Actress, Best Singer and Best Actress. Faran Khan's Om Shanti Om has been declared as best film of the year.

What exactly did she do in GURU to win the award?? was it a case of whoever shows up gets the award?? hit flick lookin pretty with nothin to do...blah 🤢

I think she truly deserves the award more than kareena kapoor. People please forget she breakthrough perfomance in GURU the climax, her surpporting abhishek bachan. And people should always think about that she has made india proud.

at least she got a chance to show her histrionics in the movie and it wasn't a candy floss chick flick...

i thought she had a gud role n acted perfectly in that movie!

sorry i dont understand what youre trying to say...

wasnt this award show based on popularity? where the audience voted for their favorites? or am i totally wrong? and in europe im pretty sure ash is more well known then some other actresses.
