I don't think he is forced to become a doctor. He looks like the padaku type who is quite passionate about what he does. His only problem is he can't see blood. I understand that he is a normal human being and it can happen even if he is a doctor, but these are not special cases. He is fainting whenever he sees blood. I hope he improves, otherwise it looks very unrealistic.
