On one hand, she wants Babes to stand up for herself and fight her own fights, but on the other, she doesn't give her the time or room to do so. Minnie is impulsive and quick to react, but Babita takes her time. Moreover, however Babita chooses to fight, it should be her choice. Minnie can't dictate to Babita that she should be saying something to so and so person.

This issue needs to be addressed within Minnie via professional help.

Mini is someone who goes about giving lectures and advises but hardly follows it up herself.

Babes -- forget about 'log kya kahenge'. Ignore kar. Kammo said something, in yerterday's ep she is like.. 'par log to yehi kahte hai na.'

I was like haah. Nikal gaya sab gyan. Bolna aasan hai. Karna mushkil. But she is only 17 so I will give her that. She needs to learn to Practice what you preach. 😃

This is like typical style ITV drama though that you will see in any other ITV shows. I don’t know why PB fell for this. Seriously Khatri showing Babita and Ashok’s marriage video. What is the point of this? Just to garner last minute drama before the wedding, and of course like any other ITV, someone will come save the day, that is Mini, the superwoman, who can handle anything and everything 🤪. Are writers sleep writing this story?

And Gur, you are right. Mini does have a savior complex. This needs to be addressed sooner. I am not excited for upcoming wedding episodes 🤔

How will they bring the story to that point though? Someone needs to atleast initiate basic conversation like they did during the depression track.

Hmm, maybe the following:

A) Minnie has a breakdown. I have a feeling this is inevitable given the way she's been behaving lately.

B) Mickey gets involved. He may not have used the term "Savior Complex", but the advises he was giving Minnie were reflective of it. Taking a step back and letting Babes figure things out for herself, finding things that make her (Minnie) happy etc. For now he has stepped back because that's what Minnie has asked but if he feels like things are getting too out of hand, then I can see him going to HS.

LOL yeah, I'm not sure who's getting involved for what.....it's not that PB didn't have dramatic scenes before but they never felt like typical ITV high voltage drama.....Ashok did a lot of crap during his track but it still never felt gimmicky.....it was addressed in the flow of the story.

This stunt reeks of a TRP gimmick....but I'll wait to see how the actual epi goes to see how they execute it. From whatever I've tracked of the TRPs, they've been at usual PB levels....no major increase for the shaadi track.....unless they are expecting a spike next week because of this mandap drama.....lol

Anyways, my expectations from PB have dramatically lowered now😆....so I'll take it in stride like I do for other unreasonable tracks in shows.

I guess it will be a combination of both your points....as you said, breakdown is inevitable....once that happens, everyone will become aware obviously.

Baaki I'm not sure if Micky will try to give hints to Babes also and give her a chance to figure things out on her own....seems more likely he would go to HS about it.....maybe Babes will pleasantly surprise me and figure something out on her own for once and actually talk to HS about handling it. 😆

I've stopped being excited for ITV weddings in general. Bin matlab ka drama karte rehte hai.

Kabhi iska khoon hogaya, kabhi woh kidnap hogayi. Ya phir dono dulha dulhan swap hogaye.

Khatri ko pata ni kaun si aag lagi hui hai. 😡 Pehle do functions itne ache se jaa re the par pata ni end mein aa ke hi isse tamasha karna tha.

Loll, it's always best to keep expectations lowered when it comes to ITV. Even though KK is at the helm, even they're capable of making mistakes. Personally, I feel like the shaadi became too much. PB thrives on dealing with the intricacies of human relationships. But with all the naach gaana, the rishte took a back seat. Minutes that were usually devoted to building up character or progressing story lines, were now spent in having Hanita just sit there and watch other people dance. Now I get why Paridhi had said it got boring and that they had nothing to do.

Shaadi truly addles the minds of ppl...everyone gets carried away 😂...even the writers who otherwise valued relationship intricacies more.
