Babes ki Khushi is Mini's life mantra. And not letting her cry is HS's prayaschit. Her smile has the capability to heal HS & Mini just like that. Like HS said, yeh uski journey hai. Use tay karne de. HS & Mini's journey is very much interdependent of Babes'. All the more interesting to witness how they all directly - indirectly heal each other while finding some moments, making memories and life just happens.

It’s amazing how much power her smile has na? As you said, just the simple act of being able to make her happy, bring her joy helps heal deep scars within HS and Mini. Her smile has the power of catharsis....a shared catharsis for all three of them.

It’s like helping her heal, helps HS and Mini heal in the process too.

^ Exactly! Domestic violence isn’t just about physically torturing your spouse. Mental abuse, financial abuse, physiological and emotional abuse, sexual abuse, verbal abuse etc. also include under domestic violence. HS’s mom suffered abuse for 8 years, Babita suffered them for 17 years. It neither lessons ones suffering nor ones suffering is greater than the other. Abuse is abuse. Also, it doesn’t matter what age you lose your parent. Losing your parent at any age is difficult for any child. If anyone can understand HS’s pain of loosing his mom, it’s Babita. If anyone can understand all that HS’s mom suffered, it’s Babita, which is why is the one that needs to heal him.

Exactly. Losing a parent is tragic, no matter the circumstances or age. So Babita can absolutely connect to that loss for HS.

And for all the speculations about HS's father.

He is long dead. It was mentioned in one of the episode.

Also, the guy was drunkard. If he is alive, how will be survive without Money? Pine ke liye bhi paise chahiye. Technically haveli is his first. If he would have been alive, there's no way he would be staying some other place. or khaoing dar dar ki thokre on the roads. So rest assured, HS's father aint coming back.

Hey Areyaar, can I request for a gif? Can you make one when HS demonstrates how ek kan se suno aur dusre kan se --shhuiiii. 😆 Yeh Gif real life mein bhi bahot kam ka hai. Perfectly done by Anirudh.

If and when you have time. Thanks.

Sure. I think I remember him doing that gesture but can’t remember the epi off the top of my head 😆....side effects of binge-watching....some things are a total blur.

Can you remind me of the epi number?

Waise toh I’m slowly doing a rewatch again as well but I haven’t gotten to this scene yet 😆

Along with the beating, HS ki mother ki wails and his father's words echo in my head...."Aurat hai, aukaat mein reh".

If there is a singular reason for why Babita's story resonates so much IMO is because it lays bare the ugly truth of the way a woman is thought of, spoken of, and treated to constantly be kept in "aukaat".

To this day, my blood turns cold over the scene when Ashok lashes out at Babita at the courthouse and talks about how he's seen her without clothes.....Mini's wails from that scene haunt me to this day....and I can't even begin to fathom Babita's state of mind in trying to emerge from that.....I feel somewhere those words still echo in her head too.

As a woman, how do you begin to move past such naked raping of your self respect and dignity by a man you allowed to see you at your most vulnerable physically? And then to see that being done in front of your own child?

Some things leave a mark on your soul....ofcourse you try to move forward and embrace the light....but the scar remains.

@bold -- I does echo in my mind too. The good thing was we watched it much later so we have bank of episodes to move past from this one & see Babes rise from it. Imagine watching it in regular run. I would be sleepless. Those words and Mini's wails were like someone cut you with knife.

Oh thank god then. I really don’t want his character randomly coming back from dead like a typical soap twist 🙄

Waise speaking of the haveli....HS was calling it Imarti ki haveli....was it legally transferred to her name? And if Babita is makaan-Malkin after the wedding, will they legally transfer the haveli to her name?

2nd September.

I have watched some of the episodes between ep 100 to ep 200, twice. 😃 Hospital track is my absolute favorite.

And then Chai scene. Aapko ko toh kisi se compare na kar sakta mein. My most favorite scene. I have watched that couple times. smiley36 Another one is Angrejo ne ghana gadar machaya hai mhari zindagi mein. 🤣

Wahi toh. PB is not typical soap where they would bring in someone from the dead. 😆 So not PB style.

I don't think legal aspect is discussed anywhere.
