The Sky Is Pink - Trailer - Priyanka, Farhan, Zaira, Rohit - Page 2

Overall I really liked it, mostly cause of Priyanka and Zaira.

It was so nice to see PC back in her element. Her screen presence just shines through and the issues I had with Quantico / PC's Hollywood career (being too OTT / trying to hard to sound American etc) are thankfully missing here. She seems so comfortable / in the space here and looks the part (like a 30-something mom), and the romantic parts with Farhan were good too, they had a natural chemistry.

Other than PC, Zaira also really shone in the trailer. It's a pity Zaira has given up on movies, she was really good in Secret Superstar and Dangal as well. The son had no lines but he was good in supporting roles in Hitchki and some other movies.

Kept waiting for the trailer to end. Beech mein band karna pada phir. Bore.

Yes the one who was suffering wrote the book before dying that's what was told during filmmaking... Her parents approached Shonali.. what I am surprised is I thought it would be about her but instead it's about the parents life.

I liked the trailer.👍🏼All the actors are really good.

I liked Shonali's Margarita With a Straw also.

And why does Farhan look like gandegi ki dukan these days?

Shonali approached Juhi the writer of Vicky Donor n Piku to make dialogues more filmy. Could see that by trailer 😅

I think they cut a good trailer but saved some of the important scenes for when people watch the film

I was also under the impression that it would be about the daughter. But this is about the parents. It also had equal parts about their romance as it did about their dealing with a sick child.

I am curious to know if Zaira deciding to quit Bollywood affected how they edited the movie and present the final product.

Umm no. Shonali has been saying it’s the story of the parents raising and losing their child since before filming even started. Shonali lost her son too so she wanted to give that perspective.
