This is the night before the wedding ceremony. As in, the jagran where everyone remains awake the whole night. They celebrate, by playing music (includes bhajan), dancing and performing skits...

Hamare yaha to ghode bechke sote hai shaadi ke pehle din so that next day will be so much of work to be done but jaggoo is super cute ritual....

Haha same here! Tamil weddings does not have anything of this sort. We infact sleep the most the night before the wedding, so that we have the energy for the main day!!

I don't think a Punjabi wedding is complete without the jaggo. And I am SO HAPPY that they're showing this! And in a Punjabi wedding, there is no room for trivial things like sleeping. You're either running around to set things up or are dancing around and celebrating.

Where do we sleep yaar. The muhurtham is always so early and the ceremonies have to begin much earlier than the muhurtham!
