I absolutely love how the scenes post Veena slapping Rohit were handled. I like how Badi Maama pointed out that it was wrong for Veena to slap Rohit and Rohit, while still holding his ground regarding Sona, said that his mom has the right to discipline him (given how close they are). They didn’t drag the scene nor did they lose focus on the issue at hand.
After that, there was a moment where Rohit walks past Veena without talking and it bothers her. It was a small scene but very well done. I love the subtle change in expression both actors give in this scene.
In the end, they make up without any fuss and drama 👏 There was no OTT bgm, no overtly emotional scenes nor was there anything excessive about the way it was shown. It was so beautiful and natural! I know when I fight with my parents, we don’t talk for a day (or have awkward one word convos). Then, something small happens and everything is back to normal 😆 I love the scene in the kitchen between Veena and Rohit! It was so real and adorable! Hats off to Shalini and Karan for pulling this off 👏 I also find Ajit and Rohit scenes so natural! One of those siblings bonds everyone can relate to 😆 I hope we get more scenes of both Veena and Ajit with Sonakshi I want them to stand by Rohit when he is starting to realize his feelings and give him a nudge or two!
