I think HS hesitates to talk about Imarti because he doesn't want Babita to start feeling inferior to her / comparing herself with her. Once Babita is confident in herself and the position she holds in HS' life, he'll open up to her.

That may be part of it, but not the whole story. Babita has many times shown immense respect and understanding for HS's love for Imarti.....so I don't think that's his main hesitation. He himself isn't ready to properly share Imarti's memories with another woman he has feelings for.
Bottom line is that he should eventually talk to Babita about Imarti.....it's a crucial part of the journey towards emotional intimacy or he will continue to have unresolved emotions in his heart....and without resolution, there will be no peace.
I'm in no hurry....I'm just saying I hope to see it happening eventually.....because based on the current story, that seems like the logical eventuality....Imarti is spoken about so much, there has to be some reconciliation for HS to directly address that loving Babita doesn't mean Imarti goes away from his heart. And that would be best resolved by him talking to Babita about his emotions for Imarti.
About Hanuman's feelings for Babita, I feel even now it is more of an experience for him. He does not say much understanding the complexities of Babita's heart and mind but by bit. Just like his love for Minnie, his love for Babita stems down to an intensely deep level. We all have seen he is so particular and possesive about his daughter and her mother. Hanuman cannot live without seeing Babita calm and happy, PERIOD. He was able to sleep peacefully when Babita went to Naeem Bi's place because it was Naeem Bi's place. There have been moments when Hanuman has been very honest about what he feels for Babita like when they got drunk after Babita gave tickets to Ashok or when Naeem Bi said to Hanuman that either he let's Babita become a part of his life or let's her go during the havan. Hanuman is in the same boat as Babita. It's just that he chooses not to react. He thinks and he solves the problems with a very mature approach. All of this is new to him as well. I am waiting to see how Babita becomes his wife by all true means. It is his love for Babita that he is ready to work so hard to make her a better version of herself.

Awesome points👏.....I love how you used the word "experience" to describe his feelings....it's a journey for him as well.....this is all very new and different for him from what his previous understanding of love was with Imarti....Babita is a different person, he is at a different stage in his life, they've both gone through different experiences....so these feelings are different....intense, but a different kind of intense from his previous experience of intensity......and he's finding his way towards handling this bit by bit as they go along.
I think it's going to be a long journey for HS and Babita towards what it means to be each other's husband and wife in every sense....the experience has many layers to navigate.

I completely agree. As a man, Hanuman is on a certain stage in his life where he has had more than enough experiences of what life can throw at you or throw you into. The very reason he has this hard exterior which keeps saying that it's all up to Babita... That she can leave the house or she can say no to the marriage or relationship but on the inside I know that he is going to die a thousand deaths if such a moment comes when Babita is not around him. We have seen in the Imarti track that he was hell bent on pushing Babita away because he felt it was his life and his problems. I say just like Babita has started trusting him with her inner turmoils... Even Hanuman's heart has to crack open. He has to trust her, he has to confide in her and let out everything that is pent up inside him. And this is going to take time.

Exactly. There's a few things that really strike me about this.....a couple of days back, there was a scene when Babita was sitting in her room upset and he comes to cheer her up...he asks her itne pyar se, "Manne bhi na bataaoge kyun udaas ho?"......and in that moment, I thought....this is deffo going to loop back to him at some point.....Babita is going to ask him just like he's asking her....."Won't you even tell me what's in your heart?"
He's trying to draw her out, help her develop that trust to share everything with him....he craves that she share her thoughts and emotions with him.....very soon, she is going to crave the same from him....she already does, but right now, her own issues are front and center.....but once the dust settles on those a bit, this is the first thing she will crave from Hanuman....that he trust her enough to open up to her too....about Imarti, about his childhood, his past, everything.
There's a reason he gave Imarti's things to Babita for safekeeping, for her to use....that was him tentatively reaching out.....but what he couldn't handle was Babita interpreting that haq to use as leverage with him when he wouldn't give up drinking....because there were other complicated emotions mixed up there.....but bottom line toh yehi thi that Babita wanted to exercise her right as lady of the house which she felt he was somewhat giving her by giving her Imarti's things....instead, she struck a raw nerve by bringing up Imarti.....so they both need to talk through this....how Babita makes her place as lady of the house in his home, in his heart.....it's one thing to want it....it's another thing to see it in action.....lol it will bring a lot of angles to it....there are still things churning inside him that need reconciliation and he needs to let Babita in properly for that to get worked out....otherwise she will work with whatever interpretation she can manage in the interim.

Poor kid. Hope she feels better soon.
Continuing on the theme of the HB discussion, I was thinking again about the scene when Babita moved HS-Imarti’s picture to make room for a pic of her, Mini and HS.
So much symbology in that scene as well. Babita moved the pic, but then put hers and Mini’s pic in the far corner away from the rest. HS got so touchy about Babita even touching the pic of him and Imarti...which was indicative of how he is generally touchy about letting Babita into his and Imarti’s world. But when Babita told him she made space for the family pic of them as a trio, he was overjoyed....he forgot to be touchy about Imarti’s pic being moved and was overwhelmed with joy over the idea of Babita and Mini making that space on the wall, in his home, in his heart.
I think this is foreshadowing the larger journey here. HS is reflexively touchy about Imarti and anything he perceives as taking her place in his life but when the space is actually taken, when the shifts actually happen to make room for other people in his heart, he’s ultimately happy about it. Because he has to be consciously shown that making an adjustment inside your heart doesn’t mean something is replaced. Your heart can expand to hold more, as it has for him in terms of the space Babita and Mini are making there....without replacing Imarti’s image. They are making their own strong place in his heart.

Not just that, he has to stop excessively worrying about her being hurt or unable to handle his raw emotions to the point where he suffocates her with his over-protectiveness. Sorry to keep harping on this but I feel this is going to blow up at some point.
