In fact, even though Mini has and will always consider him her hero, she’s always quick to point out where he may go wrong in terms of his own ego or pride. I love that it’s not some idealistic version of a hero in her mind. She reveres HS even with his flaws.

And it’s the same for Babita....she’s seen different sides of HS in the course of the Imarti case, his drinking problem so I deffo don’t think she considers him a devta. Lol....

Right now, HS is the one who has her up on a pedestal more than she does for him. And it’s thanks to her emotionally volatile state. Anyone would do the same in his place, seeing what all Babita has faced.

As you rightly said, it’s a journey of surrender towards each other in the long run. That will be the ultimate act of courage from both of them.

Yup, that idolization has waned as they got closer to each other and their dynamics changed and it's for the better tbh. Just like goodness doesn't equal to perfection, exhibiting some negative qualities like anger doesn't equate to being bad either.

Not a devta, but in some ways she does feel inferior to him. It's why she keeps seeking validation from him and repeatedly tells him how she's not the woman that he imagines her to be.

She feels inferior to everyone, not just him. Because her self worth has been brutally mutilated. She feels unworthy of love...he is a man offering her love...and the lack of confidence makes her feel he is better than her for offering her love, that is all. I don’t think she has him on a pedestal, she just considers him a better human being than her for all he’s done for her.

Babita seeks validation from everyone who offers her love or affection because she somewhere doesn’t feel worthy....she feels no one will stick around for her unless she constantly lives up to the expectation of a good wife or bahu or mother.

There were some initial scenes with NB when she also wondered if she was worthy of NB's affection and care. She didn't articulate it but you could see her insecurity in those moments too.

NB being a very wise woman knew exactly how to overcome this and she endeared herself to Babita in no time.

I expect at some point the PH will explore how with HS and Minnie's support Babita will truly learn to accept and love her own self just way she is and not feel guilty or apologetic for wanting something as a woman, not a wife, not a mother, not a daughter, not a sister.

The day she gets to that point, she will see everything in a different way. It is a much needed part of her growth.

Hmm, this will explain her response yesterday at Naeem Bi's house. Am really looking forward to tomorrow's episode now!

This I think will be a very important part of moving on for both HS and Babita, for different reasons. For HS, just coming to terms that he can surrender himself to someone who is not Imarti, who is someone very different from Imarti, and who he loves with immense passion, just in a different way. WIFE - what does that mean to him in the form of Babita? HUSBAND - what does that mean to him in terms of his new role? Does he know how to be a "different kind" of husband this time, i.e. not just a husband but Babita's husband?

Likewise with Babita, being able to feel that HS is 100% hers, no doubts and NO sharing. That she has his full attention and the right to his time, affections, love, sadness, anger, everything. That she can love someone who will not just love her back but also understand what she wants and needs a woman, as a life partner. HUSBAND, what does that mean to her in the form of Hanuman Singh? WIFE - what does that mean to her in terms of her new role? Does she know how to be a "different kind" of wife this time, i.e. not just a wife but Hanuman Singh's wife?

Welcome Anu. 🤗

It’s good to see you hooked to this subtle show in few days.. 😳😆

In NBT, we had Mohan - Nanhi - Megha growing bonding and how Nanhi, a 8 yr old kid accepted Mohan’s love for her mother Megha and accepted him as her father when MM got married.. 👍

and in PB, HS - Mini - Babita - NB - Mikki bonding with each other.. This show is more realistic and subtle.. 👏 They are showing every single human emotion with HS or Babita or Mini.. which no other ITV show has done it so far.. 👏
