Hey thanks! Glad to know my thoughts didn’t come out as jumbled as they felt while typing. Haha....this binge watching has been such an emotionally satisfying experience....I feel a sense of faith in a writing team after ages.
Really enjoyed reading your thoughts as well!
Mini - our most gorgeous girl, Queen Victoria, Veer Balika....she is one special special child. I already have a HUGE soft corner for Ashnoor because I loved her as Nanhi in NBT....isn’t it a funny coincidence that Nanhi and Mini both mean the same thing? Small? 😆....and I adore both these iterations of Ashnoor. She’s gotten the chance to explore so much more with Mini.
Her equation with Babita is just precious...the love between them, the sense of interchangeable roles...the way they take turns being mother and daughter to each other...There is so much there to warm the heart. You’ve described it so aptly....the way a child can find courage to become more fearless to protect their emotionally fragile parents.
One doesn’t even need to have a mother as soft as Babita to be able to connect with what Mini feels for her....it reminds me so much of my Mom too.
@bold: Word. You’ve nailed it. Babita is low on confidence but there is immense strength inside her.....she stood strong when Mini faced depression...she rose to the challenge....even though Mini acts like her mother, motherhood itself is what Babita draws a lot of her strength from....her love for Mini is what anchors her no matter how adrift she feels.
What’s lovely is that Mini is able to see her both as a mom and as a woman and the different needs for both those sides to her. And Babita tries in her own way to give her daughter everything she never had....independence and immense love.
Lol that last bit...yes, Babes is deffo adorable...Hanuman is so enchanted by her innocence...such an endearing look he gave her there 😆
