Yes she was that bad. She only got this far because of "Worlds most beautiful woman" tag.

She's gonna die a legend so I think she did well.

I would have watched gunjan saksena and highway even if Aishwarya was there as well HDDCS and RC if some other actress was there. I look for content when I watch.

Aishwarya's performance in Taal is underrated .. she was really convincing in the transformation from naive young girl in love to her following heartbreak and commercial success, she was natural and did not have the try-hard vibe which came in her later 2000s movies.

Plus she can be such a smouldering dancer

Taal and some parts of HDDCS were the only movies(that I have seen) in which she put up what decent performances. She seemed to be too conscious about her own so-called beauty.

I have watched a lot of her movies including her ones from the South and think she is a good actress. Her first film Iruvar where she plays Jayalalitha showed she has what it takes. IMO I don't think directors like Mani Ratnam would keep wanting Aish even at her current age if they didn't think she could act as his films require good acting. She emotes and produces feeling really well and I like her dialogue delivery. I'm not saying she is perfect by any means, as she has had some bad acting in her career. But I think she is good and not horrible as IF would led people to think. I think sometimes people who think she is terrible have only watched a few of her movies that were bad masala/drama ones that required overacting or because she is very beautiful so people think that's the only reason she keeps getting films, like how people couldn't take Megan Fox seriously because she is "so attractive" (I'm saying if Fox was a good actress). And before someone quotes me on that saying like they have watched a lot of her films and formed there opinion and that she is just a bad actress, I said SOME people.

She has played some of the most annoying characters in history of bollywood. eg: Sunheri the golden girl🤢 Also I dislike her high pitched voice.

She was not THAT bad. 😈
