I agree and it also makes sense in terms of the statements made by the actors and characters. I do not think Azaan will fall for Noor considering he has not in 20+ years, as stated by you Nora. It would ruin his character too considering he knows part of her true nature now. ShaZaan love will enter a intense/turbulent phrase due to circumstances of the nikaah. I think the fighting Azaan is here to stay and will drive this story forward.

I want this nikaah to be a fake one, Azaan can't concede defeat

There are two different shows, if you watch the show and promos then they are not promoting polygamy, Noor is negative, this marriage wasn't done in circumstances that can enable a love story between Azaan and Noor. Can there be love between these two? If love is so easy then Noor should have been married to Khalid but she knows that one can not force love on someone.

Then there is an online version where colors promotes the show in Kismet's name, fans try to find a way to Shaira dying and Azaan falling for Noor. This is promoting polygamy, the show and episodes are different

It is partly true , but during Shazaan nikah Noor was seen saying qubool hai with them along with multiple signals such as haldi , mehendi , fingerprint which implied that Noor & Azaan are destined. Or the 2nd marriage is Azaan's fate/ god's will whatever you call it , it is bound to happen.

So the show did promote polygamy in a subtle way because like you said people are rightfully not ready to accept it.

I was recently watching an SBS where 'Razia ke hato laggayi mehendi Noor ko' or something like that which is again signaling towards this kismat they are talking about.

Anyway I was primarily talking about Colors not the makers , colors has shows like dil se dil tak and silsila so I am not even surprised that they are so hell bent on promoting this genre online.

I am not concerned about fans , they can live in their lala land as much as their heart desires.

@Bold Damn!! I had forgotten about this.

Yes but I sometimes think because Bahu Begum is based on Muslim/Nawab culture the writers are trying to attract the wider TV audience with those tropes, perhaps to prepare them and they like trolling fans too.😆 The lack of cultural references is too obvious and even the dialogue could include more...

I stand by what I wrote before, the conclusion/theme/endgame was set out in the first episode itself.

Second nikaah may happen, real or fake, but eventually/at the end Noor will repent and allow ShaZaan to have a happy married life. Either that or she will achieve her goal of being BB but she will be left alone and loveless. Everything is scattered now and their journey is to solve the various problems set out so far...

Yeah... I also think they'll get married. I've said it before too- Azaan won't treat Noor like a wife. I think they're considering a legal marriage to just be in name, and that from the heart, Azaan isn't and has no interest in Noor as a wife. It's kind of a loophole if one considers it that way. So maybe that's what all the interviews were trying to say and they were hoping with that loophole, the audience, majority of whom don't support polygamy, would be ok with it.

I also agree- I definitely think the 2nd marriage will lead to an eventual redemption arc for Noor. Whether we want it or not / accept it or not, because she's a lead, they will give her one. At the minimum, to appease SJ fans and to keep them watching the show. If she was a secondary cast member villain, I could've seen her be evil throughout the duration of the show, but she's not. Too much of the story revolves around her for her to remain that evil forever.
