I think in the first place he did not say anything about Zoobie is because deep down he knows she would not stand with him and tell the truth. She could make it look like he is a player first Sadia and now he is tainting Zoobie's saaf suthri shareef image.

For the baby issue i really thought he wanted Ahmer to take responsibility of Sadia and the baby and not to get Zoobie else he cold have told Zoobie in the park ki baccha mera nahi hai.

Writers should have shown Ahmer Umair confrontation by now about the baby issue. He will not tilt towards her, maybe the nanha munna is seeing her as his purani friend or his SIL in the pure sense. lekin Zobie baji ke iraade nek nahi hai. Sadia should think about protecting her hubby rather than her choti behena.
