I saw MM and it's a feel-good movie. It's really funny and entertaining without going overboard. Yes, I know it's over-simplified and uses some far-fetched analogies, but it's a movie with its heart in the right place. It's made for the masses, and connects with people instantly. It has its flaws but they can be overlooked because of the clutch of excellent performances and performers.
Vidya Balan is the heart and soul of Mission Mangal. Her character is the most layered character in the film. It not only shows her as a ambitious scientist who leads the mission along with Akshay. It also shows the day to day challenges a typical working mother and a wife would face. Akshay is great but Vidya is a scene stealer.
Guys, go watch it. This is my take.
