She needs a body guard 24/7, she does come across as naive. I guess she tends to give everyone the benefit of doubt, tends to take things at face value. She doesn't question in spite of her journalism background, does not view things skeptically. And in many ways is unaware of her own attractiveness. Currently she feels like a fish out of water. The city, the house, the people, everything is way out of her comfort zone. Including the man she has fallen for, seems unapproachable. I feel bad for her, her life has been totally out of her hands in many ways starting from the time her dad died (actually before that, when post the divorce she quit her journalism job and moved to madras with her mother) and she moved to Bangalore. Yes, she was happy for a while having met up with Payal's friends, hearing about her from them, that job of Rishabh's her heart was never in it. That dream or nightmare of hers, that seems like a warning of sorts, her intuition telling her to be careful. I would tell her to just go back where she came from and find a job there. Its easy for us to say, but she does have a weight of responsibility on her shoulders. There is no way she can be without a job. I think she had finally reached the end of her tether and would've decided to go back if the man hadn't sprung that job offer.

Arnav, he cannot stop been concerned about her, how much ever he may like to portray the opposite. Even though he has not been able to look past what he considers is her betrayal. In many ways he has succeeded in showing that he has moved on. I wonder how much he knows about Shyam's true nature, or is it that in this case, he has decided to give him the benefit of doubt considering he is Jijaji. The man without a doubt is a creep.

I think Khushi did dig deeper into the matter with an intention to find Arnav's innocence rather than to find who drove Payal to her death. I think she held that information back.

Similarly, Arnav did not come clean with what exactly happened at the party before Payal's death and the subsequent consequences on his life.

They both are not talking about their first meet either.

Coming to the present, isn't it how it works with Khushi?

She was about to tell Arnav everything at the beach house and Rishab had to come and mess with everything.

As a last ditch effort, she came to Delhi to clear her name and Arnav did not give her a chance.

When she finally got chance (albeit not a clear one) Shyam had to offer a job and hold her in Delhi for a while. He even declared to Arnav that Khushi is his. Does the correction he made a moment later makes a difference?
When she is about to tell Shyam that one month is up and she will not continue, Desai has to intervene and push her towards Arnav.

If I look at it again, Desai actually did a favour. Mr Desai is off the hook now. Arnav will soon find out what kind of a person Shyam is. Actually he should have figured out by now that it is Shyam who took her to the party and Desai has conveniently met Khushi and asked for help with an intention play with her body by hook or by crook. He even ordered almond milk. Who will feed a person who is just coming out of a party? There must be lot of food at the party, right?

As Priya said, Khushi is too naive for her own good. Arnav can't keep an eye on her all the time.

Lavanya is portrayed as a nice girl now. What will snap her? She is here with an intention to know this family well so, that she can become a part of this family. Will she take Arnav and Khushi's closeness lightly?

Shyam is bad news for sure. How much does Anjali know about her husband?

Well, to find out, I will wait for next chapter/s.

You are right! She is almost at the end of her tether, but I think now she made strong decision to revive the relationship between her and Arnav. That is a start. All these years she is doing things for others and making sacrifices for others. She faced hurdles unknowingly. Now she has to face known hurdles in the form of Shyam, Lavanya and Senior Raizada couple. I did not place Arnav in that mix. One way or the other he has to support her when ever she falls.
