Is Kareena a one-trick pony?

'Kareena Kapoor is a PR-driven, lazy actress, who overacts in all her films.' I read this somewhere and I don't fully agree, but I think most people have this perception of her. This, despite performances like Chameli, Dev, Omkara, Jab We Met and K3G. So why do people think she is lazy and unambitious? I know she has been playing flowerpot roles lately but her stardom is very much there, as we saw in Veere de wedding. But is s she a great, good or mediocre actress? Comment.

I don't think she's a one trick pony by any means.

And, neither do find over-action to be synonymous with Kareena Kapoor. (Let's be honest, lots of actors over-act)

She did overact in a few of her films, but let's not forget to give credit where due :) ...she was brilliant in Chameli, Yuva, Omkara, Talaash (yet to watch her entire filmography).. I find her to be a very natural and a very strong actor, who has a certain ease, a fluidity and can be very nuanced than most actors I have seen. And, not only does she act well, but she has a certain charm - better described as 'glamour' and I don't mean it in the dolled up diva sense.. but she has an appeal on-screen that is beyond mere acting... which makes her a complete package. For me, she is one of the greatest actress of all times. ❤️:)

She's not even a one-trick pony. One trick pony means only excelling in one type of role or character. She only excels where the character is an extended version of her real self, as well as has good writing to make it likable. Example : K3G and JWM.

She can act but director ke upar he how he extracts that acting out of her.

She is amazing... I love her.. I haven't seen her entire filmography... people like to drag her earliers films to bash her and judge her entire filmography which I think isn't fair... but she was natural whatever I have seen... Yes, she is lazy but she is charming onscreen... I wish she did a few more good roles like Chameli, JWM, Talaash, Ki & Ka, EMAET etc... I think she does subtle roles better than louder ones though Geet is my all-time favourite... Rosie & Chameli are absolutely amazing...

Kareena if you are reading this post, please do some dark roles...
