'Kun Faya Kun' one more disaster for Hum Tv

It's not a disaster. For one it just started with 3.5 trps. And 3.5 is actually way more than Aangan that was getting 2.0 and even lower at some points in its Thursday 8:00PM slot. The show deals with a concept of a girl who is harassed (I believe she gets raped but I could be wrong) and then falls in love with Imran Abbas who gives her the support she wants. Our audience does not want to hear of rape because despite so many rape cases, we rather watch some crapfest like Mera Rab Waris with a mazloom aurat who acts like she is the superior, Hasad where its just suffrage after suffrage, and more. The show will rise just like Khaas did; Khaas is now second after Bhool due to the amazing story and soon this show will too because its a well planned love story.
Whoever posts these TRPs is anti-HUM and the ratings of Log Kia Kahengay are fake; the 7pm-8pm TRPs are all that are shown because Piya Naam Ka Diya is for one hour and basically always leads somehow, and Log Kia Kahengay gets around 2.8-4 but when its averaged with Soya Mera Naseeb, it gets really low because Soya Mera Naseeb has extremely low ratings . Getting above 3 dosent mean its a flop. This same blog called Ishq Zahe Naseeb and Khaas flops too and both are strong seconds in the ratings.
I'm not anti-GEO or anti-ARY. I follow serials on all 3 big channels and all of them make nice shows. HUM has some terrible shows (ie. Bharam and Soya Mera Naseeb, even Main Khwab Bunti Hoon is bad) and ARY has Hasad which I find really ajeeb, and GEO has Rab Waris, Piya Naam Ka Diya. Its just that if a show's bad, it's bad. TRP isn't the most accurate count of popularity either. Saibaan was getting 10+ trps and the uploaded episodes from 3rd party on YouTube were getting 5K-10K views while a secondary channel uploaded Anaa was getting 500K+ views and Anaa has not ever gotten 10 TRPs. Or even with how Zid from Express is shown to lead over A-Plus and etc but A+ shows are quite popular.

Our issue as a audience is that we love regressive content. Inkaar is getting 1.2 trps and its sad that such a nice and social issue serial is so low in the ratings.

Kun Faaya Kun will be fine. Nowdays people think that calling every serial of HUM a flop is funny. The trp auntys just dont wanna see good content.

@AA . I agree with you. also calling a show a flop from its first epi TRPs show how this plog owners are against HUM. coz KFK has just started! TRPs aren't everything. A show should be judge by its content. 👍🏼

Why the obsession with TRPs?

Do TRPs even matter for PTV shows? Cos they are finite and the shooting of the show gets finished before it starts telecasting. Isn't it?

This year if you count shows started last year into this year it was Tajdeed-e-Wafa, it was being beated by Express serials and getting 0.5 trps in some episodes, and also Aangan which even though it got 4 trps in some episodes normally got 1-2 trps and HUM expected 8+ trps honestly.

For shows that started in 2019, Bharam failed to attract at all, Inkaar has been at the bottom constantly and once got 0.7 trps, and its current dailies (Soya Mera Naseeb and Main Khwab Bunthi Hoon) also have not gotten good ratings. Anaa was thought to be a Sunday night topper but I wouldnt say its much of a failure cause its getting 2+ million views on youtube but in trps i guess its average cause it gets 3+ usually.

You are right ,Anaa does get views in millions like Suno Chanda used to get,oh it gets 3+ TRP usually, thatis decent then

Inkaar is such a good show, I binge watched the episodes and Yumna Zaidi is the star of the show.

So that means Log Kya Kahengay did better than the current daily soaps on air, Suno Chanda 2 had high trp and was a success for the channel this year.

Tajdeed Hai Wafa seems to be the biggest disaster then, you are right , thanks for explaining in numbers, it helped me understand, I think the biggest hits was Baandi from this year as it started last year, but continued until May

Aangan was expected to do well, but it did not turn out to be successful , Hum was doing well until 2017, so Aangan mostly had 1-2 trps, I see
