I agree. Mohit is such a talented actor and has good screen presence. Even with the small part he played in Uri, he left an impression. You must watch 21 Sarfarosh, he did an incredible job but I know he won't get the opportunities like an Arjun Kapoor or an Abhishek Bachchan or a Sonakshi Sinha et al who are still getting movies in spite of a horrible Carter/acting graph.

That's what makes me sadder. Just because they're insiders, Bollywood stars keep getting roles without consequences even after delivering flop after flops. Even Ranbir had a long series of flops before giving Sanju. Koi air hota to , Sanju use milta hi nehi after so many bad films.

Thank you for reminding me about Uri. Yes , even in that small role ,MR stood out . He shined as much as Vicky Kaushal who was superb in Uri. Such a gem , who'll of course go unnoticed.. Sad state of affairs.

21 Sarfarosh saragrahi- added it to my to-watch list. Not gonna miss out on his projects from now onwards.

Perhaps it's the public perception mixed with influence, opportunities etc. Despite the talent I highly doubt Indian tv actors get much exposure & opportunities for movies. On top of that big production houses are banking on star kids so it's obviously tough for them to survive

Same goes the other way around too. Established movie actors fail to make much impact let alone try to make any good Indian content; dramas/theater as such compared to the West. For instance the likes of Benedict Cumberbatch or Tom Hiddleston manages to shine in any form of art and are appreciated by the audience, but if an Indian A lister makes a similar transition, they rarely receive a similar reaction

It's all about choosing the right scripts within the limited opportunities available to u.

Insiders like Abhishek bachan alia bhat these people will get opportunities no matter how many flops they deliver.... Outsiders will have to go through casting couch to keep getting opportunities ....

For anyone to make it big in bollywood is tough job. At least tv stars get few opportunities due to the fame they received on TV.

Sushant ne bhi kaun se jhande gaade hai? Yes he got better projects but that's because of his acting ability and connections. He failed to build a fan base like Varun or Tiger despite debuting around the same time. MSD was hit because of Dhoni. A bigger star could've atleast made it cross 200 Crores. Vicky, Ayushhmann, Karthik are doing better than him. For Kedarnath success, a newcomer star kid took all the credit and focus from him.

there is def a class system within BW too, no denying that

It is subjective. Even Bollywood actors are blah. There are very few actors who have that charm and talent. The problem is audience themselves encourages nepotism and prejudice by overhyping these average star kids and looks down upon outsiders.

He was good in kedarnath. Sara had an author backed role. Still I saw many people praising sush for his role. It is not his fault that his co star turned out to be a PR hungry despo.

Kounse jhande ghade means? Tiger ne Kounse jhande ghade? He is existing because he is a shroff... Till Now at least he is just a version of hrithik Roshan. Coming sushant ayushman these guys have established themselves as bollywood actors. Karthik is doing better lol he is just overhyped.... Getting attention because of personal life heroines costar or because ur someone s daughter or son.... Getting attention isn't success....
