Sorry Sammy!! I was AWOL yesterday ( work and it’s many detriments)

The opening sentence of course !! .. Ye bhi koi puchne waali baat hain ☺️ beautifully written !! 👏 I loved them being Candid with Coffee...all Mishbir moments were lovable !! Hope you write more ....soonish !!

My imagination kicks off when there is a dearth of Mishbir scenes in the show. Don't have any ideas as of now, hopefully will write soon.

Hey all! This OS is set after Mishbir confession ( atleast in my imagination it's over😉) and they are a brand new couple now💃

Whether both families know about their love doesn't matter.

As usual like in my other OS, you know who is kept to the minimum or is not at all there.😁

Now to the story...

Abir Video calling Mishti

A - Mishti, Hi, tomorrow afternoon we have to leave for Kutch urgently.

M - Hi! Abir, why are you looking so worried? Did something happen?

A - Our Ngo's school is badly affected by the recent floods, communication is also affected, I got the news just now.

M - Oh ok. Abir I will talk to BP and BM immediately. Don't worry Abir, everything will be fine.

A - Ok Mishti, I will pick you up tomorrow. Bye Abir.

M - Bye.

Mishti goes to talk to BP and BM, Kuhu is also there.

M - BM, BP, Abir just called, in Kutch our Ngo's school is badly affected by the recent floods, we have to go there to set things alright. He said tomorrow we will have to leave.

BM - Mishtiii (In her usual screeching voice), beta, we have Holi in 2 days, how can you be not there with us.

Kuhu - Daadi, let her go na, we will be very hashtag haaa.... I mean sad.

Kuhu, I know about you, I know you will be very very sad, said Mishti winking at her.

Kuhu coming closer to Mishti, Tu zyaada scene mat create kar na... Yes, I will be very happy if you are not here for Holi, so that I can spend time with my family.

Mishti in Kuhu's ears, they are my family too and I don't know why you always think that I seperate you from them. I only have nothing but care for you.

#Behenji types baathein... Hmmm.. said Kuhu.

BM - Aap dono Beheniyia na, Kya wahan pusur pusur chalra hai

Kuhu - Kuch nahi Daadi, I was just telling Mishti to be here for Holi.

BM - Yes, Mishti

M - Badi maaaa

BP - Shaurya ki ma, let Mishti go, she is working for an NGO, whenever need comes she has to be there na. She is going for a good cause. That too at a time like this, lots of people will be required to set things right.

M - Thanks for understanding BP. BM, even I want to be here with you all for Holi, but matters there are not good.

BM - Ok Mishti, please come as soon as possible.

M - Sure BM, thank you BP, said Mishti and hugged both of them and went to her room.

Next day Mishbir are travelling in a bus to Kutch. The bus broke down near a village before reaching Kutch.

M - Abir, what to do now, it's late in the night, what are we going to do?

A - Yeah! Mishti, I don't think we are going to get any bus at this time to reach Kutch and others are also saying the same, we better stay in some hotel for the night and leave tomorrow morning.

M - Ok, let's go.

At the nearby hotel, Mishti and Abir are checking about the rooms at the reception and the receptionist says that there is only one room left.

M - Bhaiya, please check na, we need two rooms. Please.

A - Yeah ! Yeah! Bhai, please kuch Karo na,

R - Actually there is a wedding going on in the nearby village, so lots of people from outside towns have come and that's why all the rooms are full. The next hotel is a bit far and am not sure about any rooms left. Actually we have only the spare room left. I am offering you that because it's late in the night.

A - Mishti, you sleep in the room and I will sleep in the couch here in the reception.

M - No Abir, we should check the other hotel.

R - Madam, I can call that hotel to check whether any rooms are available.

M - Thank you so much Bhaiya, pls check.

Meanwhile Abir says to Mishti, " I don't think we will get a room there Mishti. I will take the couch here."

M - No Abir, that will be really uncomfortable, there's nothing wrong in checking na. Let's be positive.

* Abir prays rooms should not be available in the other hotel in mind*

R - Madam, I checked with the other hotel but rooms are not available there also.

A - I will take the couch here Mishti, no problem for me. You go sleep comfortably.

R - Sir, actually there is a couch available in the room if you want to take it.

M - Then you can sleep there Abir. Come on let's go.

Mishti got the keys and started walking towards the room.

A - Huuuunnnnnnnnh Mishti, hum dono akele ek room mein?!?

M - Abir, you are going to take the couch, there is no problem for me. Moreover in this night we don't have much choices to look for other places. I am just tired and I want to sleep.

A - You have no problem but what about me. What if you take advantage of me? I am a very smart, charming, hot and sexy guy. What if you do something to me?. I am not comfortable staying alone with you. I am a very sanskari guy you know.

M - Abir, tu Zyaada Nautanki mat kar. I have no intentions to do anything ok. You are talking as if sanskar is your family's heritage.

Oh! That I know, I am telling I am cute, hot and sexy many times all these days but of what use? You are not doing anything only, Abir mumbled to himself.

M - What? What are you whispering about? Talk loudly na.

A - Nothing, I said I am hungry, let's order something.

Mishbir in the room.

M - Shall I use the washroom first?

A - Sure, go ahead, I'll order room service. Hey angry chorni! What should I order for you?

M - Just a glass of milk for me.

A - Who drinks just milk? Billi ki taarah, huhuh

M - Abir!!

A - Oh I am sorry, a wild cat, ha ha huh ha...

Mishti who was about to go in the washroom comes back near Abir with fake anger and he starts walking back wards.

M - What did you call me Abir ? A wild cat?

A - Yeah! Look at you angry violent cat.

By now Abir was almost pinned to the wall by Mishti.

M - You know what a wild cat would do??

A - Huuuunnnn..

Mishti kept her finger on Abir's lips and he stood still.

M - Chup... Else I will scratch you all over, said Mishti and turned towards the washroom leaving Abir speechless.

After some time..

Abir's jaw dropped when he saw Mishti coming out of the washroom. She looked so pristine, her long beautiful wet strands touching her face, how can a person be so beautiful. Mishti had washed her hair.

Abir's heart beat increased when Mishti came towards him, it was so loud that he can hear it himself. Mishti came near Abir and Closed his mouth and went away smiling.

Abir was lost in Mishti's thoughts and her wet hair. Mishti was drying her wet hair sitting in front of the mirror and saw Abir looking at her in the mirror and raised her eyebrows twice like teasing what is it?

A - Hmm.. Nothing...Mishti, come let's have dinner, I have asked the waiter to set the table in the balcony.

Mishti and Abir were lost in each other and their silence spoke thousand words in the dim lit balcony with Moonlight Beautifully adding it's charm.

Mishti and Abir came back from the dream world only when they heard their door bell ring. It was the waiter who had come to clear the plates.

M - Oh god! It's too late. Let's go to bed.

A - Sunno, don't come near the couch ok?

M - Oh! As if I am planning to..

A - Who knows what all thoughts you will get in the night.

M - Don't be so full of yourself Abir, now remember we have to leave early in the morning. Now go to sleep.

Both Mishti and Abir were able to sleep after a lot of time since both were concious about the other being in the same room.

Next morning they left for Kutch and the two days went in a jiff as they had so much to do at the school in Kutch.

After two days...

It was Holi that day...

Abir had arranged for Holi celebrations to lighten up the mood of all people around after the flood.

Abir announced to the crowd, " Let's all celebrate Holi and thank God we didn't have any loss of lives. Whatever material resources lost can be regained and we should be glad that all our loved ones are safe". Saying so Abir picked up the colors and started throwing at everyone. The crowd went Jubliant and all were started playing Holi teasing and chasing their loved ones with colors in their hands.

Mishti was watching all this from a bit far and was thinking, this is the man she loved. He always manages to bring smiles on everyone's faces.

Abir looked at Mishti curiously watching him and went near her.

A - What are you looking at?

M - I am looking at the man I love.

A - Mishti, do you remember it was during last Holi, we actually saw each other's faces properly even though our first meeting was on the bus?

M - How can I forget Abir? At that time there was no clue that I will fall in love with you irreversibly.

Love you Abir, said Mishti and rubbed Abir's cheeks with colors she was hiding in her hands and ran away.

A - Mishti, I am not going to let you go for this.

M - What? You always say that I should not throw colors on you from your behind. I didn't do that... Catch me if you can..

A - Don't challenge me Mishti....

Abir caught hold of Mishti from behind and folded her hands near her waist as if in total control of her and rubbed his cheeks on Mishti's cheeks slowly from behind...

A - Remember you said last year you will color me in your colors...Love you More Mishti..
