I guess Babita understands there..also Hanuman has made it clear to her in starting that he has fatherly affection for her..Babita has trusted him more than anyone else for any fatherly duty for Minnie. It started with them going to doctor together for Minnie..I feel complications that he said is more about what accusations they have gone thru and how they have denied those and finally they succumbed to their hearts there by making people say that may be Hanuman helped babes for his own benefits.. something like that.. Hmm... Wouldn't it be interesting if instead of Babita, HS is the one who is worried about log kya kahenge. Or maybe he is waiting for the moment when Babita will be ready to stop caring about log kya kahenge.

but that was the first proper romantic sequence b/w them so was only admired . hope his haryanvi aggression does not messes up .

The point is that he is trying to fill a gap in his life by substituting it with alcohol, just like Minnie said her mother was addicted to social media as a means of filling the loneliness in her life. Once that gap is filled by the right thing, the alcohol or net addiction will subside on its own.

I don't think that Hanuman will think about log Kya kahege in his case..I guess he might be fearing if log Jo bhi kahege having impact on Babita.. may be he wants her to take first step to make her stronger about facing questions on their relationship to the world. Ugh..we can just guess..hehe
