i have heard some strong cases of re-carnation

where people hav actually idenitified their killers of their past birth and got them arrested or found their lost mother in the previous birth

however, science doesn't believe in this and its called superstition. so its a matter of belief.

as far as the movies were concerned all of them : they were really crap since they were made for entertainment they would not make u feel its real, u just want to enjoy and have a great time.

I do believe in reincarnation, but not the OSO kind.. (not denying complete possibility of that either). But this whole karma, karz... no, not in the way it's depicted popularly. I think we all grow, change and experience, that's all..

I do think that we are part of collective consciousness, and I also think everything in this existence and beyond is connected.. although I believe that soul is not exactly a separate entity from this 'collective', I do think there is some imprint/s we carry like in pockets :p ..what I'm trying to say here is that soul may not be this water-tight entity that travels through.. it can be..

IDK though.. I'm still thinking about this. I do believe in some continuity of some shape/form/type beyond the matter or the tangible and that this continuity does carry some type of a memory or colors from the experience and washing off of the experience; and also from it's connection or oneness with the 'collective'.. I feel silent now lol, can only wonder :p

It's all about consciousness..we aren't separate from whom we call as God. I believe in the philosophy of Advaita Vedanta. Until we reach that state we will be born again and again..

Sometimes I have dreams where I'm a different person and it get me thinking what if such dreams are from previous birth?..

Its like a state of being but not existing if that makes any sense. Its' like we are there but we are not really "we". It's when we are incarnated on this earth, that's when we think and do things, that's when we have certain characteristics and proclivities. But by what system, are we assigned bodies, and a mental makeup, what traits we are going to have, how far fate and freewill determine states...no one knows and those who know are not telling.

I think the concept of heaven you're talking about comes from Buddhism, which honestly makes more sense than the heaven which is taught in Abrahamic religions. The heaven what I was talking about comes from Christianity, where you are nothing without God and be forever grateful to him because he created you. And you should worship him even in heaven.
