The hand hold
I loved Abir's entry the most out of all the four. The jingle urd chala they play is so in tune with him. Rhea and Shaheer have such a powerful screen presence they own their scenes. How subtly the writers show us the contrasting view points of all the leads. Now coming to the first AM conversation. From the get go Abir is intrigued by her. When the bus jolts a little Mishti holds Abir's hand and the other people tease them by saying herioine nay hero ko bacha liya. Mishti quickly let's go of his hand.
"Haath samblany kay liay dia tha thamnay kay liay nahi" she explains how she only gave him her hand to stabilize him. At this time Abir is a stranger for her and she doesn't want her to get any ideas of the wrong sort.
Then she goes on to say a heartbreaking dialogue.
"Waisay bhi Jab apnay hi haath chod jayay toh haath thamnay ki aadat nahi rehti" Both Abir and Mish remember their father and for the first time we see a glimpse of two people who have a common past who have the potential to bond and understand eachother because they both know how much it hurts to let go. This single thing makes their hand holds so special. Abir aur Mish aik doosray kay apnay ban gaye and they didn't even realize. I mean these cuties didn't even know how special they will be for each other. No wonder the camera always pans when they entwine their hands with each other. Two people who won't let go of each other. Truly a magical moment.
