Doctors Profession

Hey

I just wanted to say that they are constantly trying to show Sonakshi as the best in terms of being a daughter or professionally. Strangely they have been trying to glorify the profession of a actor. That is fine but what about doctors ??

Here the doctor is impulsive and serious because doctors see people dying and crying all around them. It’s a profession which makes one very serious because they do not have to only face the roses. All professions are great but this constant goodness of actors, hard work of actors etc etc is getting me irritated. Why not show that even he is working hard and giving in many hours etc.

Strange that all I see is how actors r blah blah blah

Actually Sona's professional aspects are highlighted because Rohit used to look down upon her all the time. While same is not true for Sona's perception of Rohit's profession. She already knows/thinks that being a doctor is a noble work to do, she believes Rohit is thoughtful about the underprivileged (the speech at the inauguration).

So... To execute the gradual change of Rohit's outlook of Sona, tits and bits of Sona's profession is shown... TV actress is a kinna new. Doctors are everyday thing for ITV so that part is over looked.

I've been hoping for someone to mention this! Couldn't have said it better.

I thought the show was on a modern couple balancing their diff career worlds...but its turning out to be a persuasive documentary on the hard life of a television actor, and how they should be recognized as a noble profession. It was a nice change of perspective in the beginning but now it's like advertising. I feel like they're force feeding me sympathy for Sonakshi and her problems as an actor. Earlier it used to be the tolerating and sacrificing bahu...now its a tolerating and sacrificing actress. Personally I'd take the bahu over an actress - atleast there's more reality and justification.
