My son is a special child, has downsyndrome n has a mental intelligence of a 2 year old, He is grown up now but when he is angry @ his dad or uncles he will just slap them or pull their hair....
But when he is angry with me he takes my hand n slaps himself n i cannot stop him because he holds my hand so firmly... He knows that I will feel more pain when he hits himself with my hand rather than he hitting me!
I sometimes dont know whether to laugh or cry but just give him a bone crushing hug!!! š

Since everyone is staribg accident stories, let me also.... My daughter was 1.5 when she ran into a wall yes wall...and her forehead over her eyes split...I turned round to see her eyes bleeding...I thought she has hit her eyes...most scary moment ever.š„ŗ.I lifted her and ran like pre, in my nightie to the hospital which was thankfully only next road! Now she has a nice Harry potter scar that will be there all her life above her eye....it is like a z also š
