I was reading up on this Karim Morani guy. He was already a notorious name by 2014 with underworld connections, his name involved in 2G scam, etc. He was accused of rape only in 2017. But who's who of Bollywood (including SRK) attended his son's wedding this year.

Almost the entire industry is full of scum and no morals.

Now that you mentioned him, I read about him and this is from wikipedia. How is it that every movie of his is associated with SRK ? and people still went ahead to work with him. Hmmmm shady Bollywood.

• 2G spectrum case

Morani is an alleged accused in the 2G spectrum case.[5] The Income Tax Department and the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) claim that Morani was a part of the conspiracy to illegally transfer funds to Kalaignar TV on the behest of Shahid Balwa and Vinod Goenka who are both co-accused in the 2G spectrum case. It was alleged that the promoters of DB Realty Shahid Balwa and Vinod Goenka transferred ₹2,092.5 million (US$33 million) to Kusegaon Fruits and Vegetables, in which Shahid Balwa's brother was a director. Kusegaon Fruits and Vegetables then transferred ₹2 billion (US$31 million) to Cineyug Films, and Morani then transferred it to Kalaignar TV.[7][8] Morani was charged with Criminal conspiracy to cause criminal breach of trust by a public servant, criminal conspiracy, cheating, forgery, fabrication of evidence and also booked under the Prevention of Corruption Act. Morani was arrested by the Central Bureau of Investigation on 30 May 2011[9][10] and was subsequently granted bail on 28 November 2011.[citation needed] As of August 2012, Morani is facing trial in 2G spectrum case and has to appear at a Special CBI Court in New Delhi.[citation needed]

• Mumbai Underworld

On 23 August 2014 members of the Ravi Pujari gang made an attempt on the life of Morani.[11][12]

• Model Rape Case

In 2017 Morani was booked by Hyderabad police for the rape of a 25-year-old Delhi-based student.[13] On 23 September 2017, Morani had to surrender to the Hyderabad police following the order by the Supreme Court refusing to give Morani anticipatory bail in the alleged rape case against him.[14][15]

So it kinda seems she has signed the movie ... otherwise after so much of uproar on SM, the team would have clarified right away that she hasn't signed the movie ... unless ofc her PR is using it all for publicity, wait it out and then come ahead to claim she hasn't signed anything with Ranjan!

Waiting to see how her PR uses this opportunity to promote her as the most "sanctimonious woke person" ever!

Deepika's PR: Deepika has signed the movie but on the condition that a full investigation would be conducted on the allegations and she will only proceed once Luv is cleared of a charges

Flora Saini who essayed the role of Stree in Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao starrer rose to fame soon after the film made for a super hit. The actress recently came out open and joined the MeToo movement in Bollywood. The actress spoke about the physical abuse that she faced in the hands of her then-boyfriend Gaurang Doshi, and the trauma which followed. Gaurang who is a film producer has produced films like Aankhen, Deewaar and others.

The actress who took it to her Facebook handle shared a photo of her injured self and mentioned how she was brutally thrashed by her then-boyfriend, whom she dearly loved. In the photos one can see her black and blue swollen jaw and just by having the look at it, we can imagine how much pain she must have gone through. Her Facebook post gathered a lot of attention and many came in to support her.

She further narrated the whole unfateful incident which took place on Valentine's day 2007, the day she was beaten up by a known producer Gaurang. Now talking about the incident further, she spoke to BollywoodLife.com and recalled how not even a single person came out to support her, except for Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

See the male stars are as accountable and should be called out too. Some of them ain’t as vocal as actresses and don’t pretend like they do. Still they are trash and deserve to be called out. If you guys are looking for nonshady morally clean and flawless people, you are looking at the wrong industry... BW is a different ballpark.. they don't abide by the same rules.. it's the fans' fault if they think their fav is a perfect human.. that's why I have always objected to idolword being used for favs

How can someone be accused of something like that? Auditions are not conducted by a single person.. sir bhi you log hinge wahan? Can't they sent or confirm such an incident
