Okay here is my take.
As much as we want RB to give her a wake up call I think what is important is that P faces the fact A does not believe her. For her to move on with RB or atleast see him anything other a monster and have an actual conversation P needs to confront that her love who claimed to support her in everything could not look past himself and his pain and grief to put all the hints P and RB have given him two see that P sacrificed herself for him.
Then it should be RB’s lecture.
