Why Mishti thought Abhir's few actions before apologizing?

I really did not get why Mishti was thinking about a couple of incidents before apologizing:

- The scene where Abhir was protecting Mishti during Ved engagement fiasco.

- Abhir telling Mishti doesn't want to do eye surgery.

Is it to say that Abhir has stood up for her in the past and she needs to apologize for Abhir? Those scenes looked odd to me before Mishti's apology.

Even I was thinking the same but couldn't get the connection between those scenes and the scene which was going on...

Maybe it was becoz abir always stood up for her..for what she believes in..she always did what she felt was right to do and abir supported her

But apologising is sth she didn't feel is the right thing to do..may b she was feeling guilty that she is disappointing abir by doing that coz abir always wants her to do what she feels is right

The flashbacks didn’t make any sense and did not fit into the sequence... so I thought it was an editing error lol..

She asked apology bcoz of abir not bcoz of her family..when her family requested her to ask apology she refused to do so..but when she saw abir in the door step she recalled abir words when they were talking, and also mishti thinks for abir his brother kunal is more important and this rishta too, so bcoz of abir mishti decided to ask apology though she not convinced then she recalled the moments when abir took a stand for her.. i guess this is the reason for the flash back scenes
