I feel this season is brought into live to cater to Ekta's obsession over the character called Anurag. 😆 I mean the way she kept trying to shove Anurag and immoral non-existent Anurag-Prerna love story (Immoral post Prerna's marriage to Bajaj which would turn AP relationship as Extra Marital Affair) to viewers till the end of the show, I feel it had caused a lot of pain to Ekta to see no one buying her antics and preferring Ronit-Shweta as pair than CK-ST. 🤔 So this season she got like the BEST possible for this character, Parth is without a DOUBT doing a GREAT job! Anurag's characterization is taken care of so nicely, he gets free pass for everything he does, he doesn't have to apologize ever for anything, he has all the ladies dying for him right from Episode 1, he saves people from fire, he saves himself from like 1000 accidents already ? His going to jail results in such big hoopla than the heroines. In the latest promo, you can even see a bit of Sujal in Anurag which does not go with this character AT ALL.

So yeah, the show is nothing but Ekta's dark fantasy about Anurag. And I trust her to kill all other characters in this process. 😆

I really like what you wrote below of Bajaj as a character has really not been developed you are correct his personal narrative has not been explored and so it comes across as haphazardly put together.

I wouldn’t call Anurag or Prerna inspiring in this show but they have built a love story for them granted may not have depth but more so as a blind encompassing love.

But just showing this alone will not move a story forward any story needs a powerful antagonist too so that the Protogonist can shine thru in this case I don’t know whether the end result is showing Bajaj as a parallel lead or the main Antagonist but there are absolutely no layers to his character I would blame the writers of this show for that because given what he has been given to do the actor is doing justice.. question remains will he get creative satisfaction of a non layered character and will audience connect because audience like me have even lost connect with the leads now.

I'm not sure how many of her newer soaps y'all have watched.. but her soaps have a very similar pattern now...They are all exclusively lead centric in a strange way...That is, leads are also terribly written but everything revolves around them regardless...Leaving no space for any development of any other character...It's not that she is necessarily glorifying the leads...They aren't well-written enough to be glorified...But it's that there is no breathing room for other characters or different possibilities... Her current villains are all mindlessly evil cardboard characters...Including this Komo 2...They have no nuance or finer feelings...Rb has been treated relatively better than Komo actually...Probably bcs he was more of a parallel lead than an antagonist...but as I keep complaining, his motivations or personal narrative have been fully tied to the leads...He has no individual presence...Very much a cardboard character who just isn't mindlessly evil yet...So him, as a character, has obviously been shortchanged...and this is something that'd continue unfortunately or fortunately depending on your perspective...It's been over a month and we haven't seen any full-fledged form of the character yet.... It is what it is and what will be...Then again, knowing Ekta's newer soaps, I knew what I was getting into...So I expected nothing...But complaining is good for the heart..😆

Anyway.. Nothing from this soap would be regarded as iconic by anyone else but die-hard fans...so waise bhi there's not much point..😆
