Of course that is true. But that goes into a longer discussion.

The point I was trying to highlight was that Duryodhan and others, and even Bhishma and others, had to all die in the war, because they all committed a crime/supported a crime.

When Arjuna gives up his arms before battle, that is how Krishna convinces him (its a long chapter, but in short), that in establishing justice and dharma, one has to pick up arms. Arjuna did not want to shoot arrows at Bhishma, because he was so close to him, but krishna reminded him that Bhishma is standing with adharm and injustice, that's why he needs to be defeated too, even if Bhishma knows that he is wrong and cannot leave Hastinapur.

I agree with you totally just to add bit more about karna in his whole life always tried to be rightful and honest but his one deed of supporting kaurava was wrong karna was also a sad soul her mother disowned him also as he was from lower cast no one appreciated his presence it was only duryodhan who accepted him but supporting duryodhan in wrong deed washed away his all good deeds and was killed in worst manner when he was armless which was against war rule and it was by arjun his only enemy but at same time arjun also lost his son which is due to karna and even in his last breathe when abhimanyu asked for water he didnt obliged to give so he also i dont remember the name but there was one kaurav who was against all this happened to pandava and draupadi but being kaurav he was forced to be that said and was served the same punishment so karma definitely gives you what is deserving but for that u only need to take weapons in your hand also

If pandvas would have thought that karma will serve we dont want war because it kills innocents wont it would be worst decision

Most importantly thanks to TM i loved the way you described and compared as i was not part of IB forum i really want to look forward to your such posts

Yes. After the war was over lord Krishna warned the Pandavas not to lead a lavish life, but they committed lot of mistakes due to which they landed in hell.

Mahabharat epic is like a ocean. Too many dimensions and lot of messages to the mankind.

Shru, his name was Vikarna. He told his brother Duryodhan and Dusshasan to stop, but they didn't listen to him. He was forced to sit at the court and witness all this. He warned Duryodhan that they will all suffer, but his elder brother didn't listen to him.

In the end, Vikarna also was killed because he was part of the Kaurav army.

Mahabharata is a tragedy.

Excellent review!!! I never thought of the connection to Mahabharat until you mentioned it! I agree with everything you've said! Would just like to add one thing, however.

Revenge not only affects the people who you're taking revenge against - it also affects you. In the case of the Pandavas, they had to kill their entire family and everything and everyone in their lives (kauravas). At the time they did what they had to do, but were they ever truly happy after that? CAN someone ever truly be happy knowing you're responsible for the destruction of your family? Moreover, Gandhari (mother of the kauravas) cursed Krishna for destroying her family that his kingdom would never prosper! Krishna's kingdom ultimately came to an end because of that curse.

We can note something here:

1) Kauravas (aka the bad guys) suffered a brutal death

2) Krishna and the Pandavas (aka the good guys) were forced to destroy their entire family; and even future generations of Krishna's kingdom were affected as a result of this saga

To summarize, revenge hurts EVERYONE.

In the case of this show:

1) Mittal parivar is suffering (barely managing to find a roof over their heads)

2) Pooja has been completely abandoned by her sister and is now completely alone in the big house, desperately trying to convince herself that she is happy

I just wish Senior Mittals suffer properly.

Sorry, not having a roof over their heads, doesn't cut it for me.

I want them to at least grovel at Pooja's feet.

LOL I am a sadist. 😈

Nah, I want the same. I cant feel bad for them at all. They deserve everything they're getting. I feel bad for Jr mittals though..specifically kabir and dhruv. Dhruv's whole life got turned upside down in an instant...and Kabir...he has the responsibility of his whole family on him...

Right. That Draupadi one. If people believe bad was destroyed in hands of good that is by pandavas. Why is it diff. for Pooja? And even kaurava sons obviously who did no crime got killed even though they r not at fault. Same way at the end PK's sons and daughter in law will obviously support him. Why is avenging wrong? While i do like court and society's support i don't always like the way it takes everything into its hands. It is ESTJ society. While Jhanvi is an ESFP.
