maybe they have s2 on cards...or maybe it got an extension for not ending on the 14th but end of this mnth or few weeks...its always open possibilities...

I doubt if it is getting extended. Its too short a notice for the makers to plan anything. It needs to happen a month in advance or before. Plus Mohit is already shooting for his web series which means the shooting of the show is over. S2? Not sure given its &TV. A channel like Colors or SP has the infrastructure to produce sequels and all that. But Daayan though popular on &TV didn't fetch the kind of numbers it should have for a small channel to plan its sequel.

Yup mohit has finish shooting got to know through his IV but not sure for other cast though....its so dry n silent😆i mean no closing party except for our gorgeous couple the rest all share good rapport with each other but so dry maybe there was a closing party since i am not in insta no clue at all😆...aashka had a farewell party.. here the whole show is going off air no party...pics...if anyone crack it from mohit or tina insta...pls let me know

&TV is always low in trps...none of their shows reach the GEC...only bhabhiji n happy works but that too not sky rocket trps...daayan is a success to the channel...after naagin...its daayan that set a new trend in supernatural genre...who knows they might come with a S2 with complete new cast or with mohit-tina but a whole new supporting cast as it focus on a leap or revolves around akarshvi daughter....in any form story for S2 is made...if talking abt repeating them n off-screen issues well if they agree to do the S2 than just like how they are in deep silence with each other they can work the same way together in S2...they are very mature individuals n thorough professionals which is clearly shown in S1 itself...hats off

I also think they are extending the show atleast till July end. Actually the channel/production never confirmed the last episode telecast date, niether did any actor. The actors did mention that the show will end. But even if it's ending in July end, still they have hardly any time to wind up all the unfinished tracks. They will just focus on daayan and satrups ending track I guess.

Shooting for the show is still going on. I guess yesterday only the cast posted in stories . Mohit is shooting for daayan, he too posted a pic of his from daayan shoot in his stories just a day back. I guess he is shooting for both the show and the web series.

There are so many tracks left. How will they show all the tracks in just 4 epis.

Prachi stabbing veer and that whole drama on satrurday and sunday.

Then harsh locking Prachi so finding Prachi drama.

Satruoa convincing jhanvi's family that the child in jhanvi's womb is satrupa and akarsh's. Then jhanvi's abortion drama may be on Sunday or next saturday.

Akarsh capturing satrupa and Satrupa being sent to her world. That may be next Saturday. Then akarsh getting to know about his mom being after Prachi stabbing veer. He and jahnvi will them fight daayan. May be next week will be about all that.

But then there was article Jhanvi getting the daayan's half powers during fight.

Also yesterday another article of daayan turning jhnvi's family to stone and blackmailing Jhanvi.

They also mentioned few new actresses to come for last epi . There is still a lot to wind up. I doubt the show is ending on 14 .

And moreover the shooting is still going on. I guess they had a day or two off as they already had quite a lot of back up epis but they are shooting again.

Season 2, Daayan unfortunately just juggled between 0.2 and 0.3 for most of the time inspite of major twists . It's doubtful the channel or the PH will bring a sequel. Even if sequel is made, most likely the cast will be new. Looking at them rushing with Jhanvi and akarsh being pregnant. Seems like their child will be the main focus in S2 if it comes. Grown up akarshvi child fighting daayan. And doubt any one of Mohit or Tinaa wanna play parents to grown up child. They would wanna experiment with new major roles after this show.

But looking at andtv new shows, they are not doing any good either. Jaat na poocho just had 0.1 trps in fisrt two weeks compared to dayaan trps which were atleast 0.5 and even 0.8 at a point, the channel and PH just lost the daayan show plot with stupid twists and ignoring all interesting tracks. But the major glitch for S2 is still the channel .

They are still shooting. Mohit I guess just aise hi said in interview that the shooting for daayan finished. But he yesterday posted a very small video of his on insta stories from daayan sets . He is shooting.

Others are also shooting. So shooting is pretty much still going on normally. They seemed to have a day or two off because they have quite a few back up episodes.

Tinaa is on off for a day or two because of her prior commitment I guess. She is in Armenia for a day's event or so, that is why she is not shooting currently but I guess, she too will resume shooting for daayan tomorrow or whenever she gets back to India.

Even if it's like more than 4 epis still there are so many loop holes. And so many intersting tracks just left midway without even any proper ending. Now they have turned it into yet another SaaS bahu fights and with one obbsesive lover after male lead. Typical pregnancy track, confusion of Baby. Multiple marriages of male lead. Typical memory loss track.....

Daayan was one promising and unique and fresh show. Not as horror , because the effects were bad, but just basically the mystry and the story overall. And alos the lead's chemistry was amazing.

Now it's predictable and stretched. They wasted last week akarsh going after 7 Roopa of satrups . This week would also be about that. Akarsh again capturing 7 Roopa of satrupa. They are stretching the tracks like rubber band when they know the show is finite and almost ending.

It's not like kumkum Bhagya or kasauti that they can run it for years.......

Its sad that &TV shows don't fetch the desired numbers but fact is I have seen & experimenting with different themes. For example u have shows like Meri Haanikarak Biwi (watch it occasionally since mom is a regular), then u had Queens Hai Hum which was a women oriented show. Even Bado Bahu was different. The shows are watchable compared to what we see on SP, Colors or Zee. Problem with supernatural shows is the special effects and prosthetics are a joke. If that could be improvised and if the makers stick to their original story instead of changing tracks every now and then, the show can be good.

Its no way ending 14th july...going by story pov there is lots of unfinished part...the show definitely ending since its a finite series but i guess latest by end of this month or 1st week of august it might end...they need to end many tracks...satrupa will end but daayan is an open ending...the climax might determined if there is S2 or not....

chalo achcha hai our boy is back to work...i could see his eyes are tired even in last week epi...he has no enough sleep juggling b/w both shoots with less sleep...in certain shots his eyes are red...he needs more rest but proud that he gives his work 100% dedication

its due to stupid tracks they introduce than open one track and jump into another w/o any closure...if something that really hook us especially me its the gorgeous couple

well it depends on S2 how the story goes...it can go in any ways

1)a different cast n story like N3

2)it revolves around akarsh-jhanvi daughter with tina playing both roles n mohit does a guest appearance just like N1,mouni did both roles n arjun did a guest appearance but ultimate story revolves around their daughter shivangi n of course a new male lead in N2 it was KV...same here the main story will be akarshvi daughter n a new male lead with of course tina as jhanvi n mohit as akarsh does a guest apperance but whole story revolves their daughter whom is also played by tina...if EK plans a huge leap...which i will never want...i want to see mohit-tina only

3)it can still continue with mohit-tina as akarsh-jhanvi but this time they are separated due to akarsh's dark world...jhanvi doesn't want akarsh anywhere their kid and ask him to leave her...akarsh to protect his wife n kiddo do just that on the other hand daayan wants akarsh's kid for her throne...akarshvi meet each other after 5 years...a mini leap and also protect their kid being separated

4)jhanvi loose her baby due to akarsh's world n blames akarsh and they are separated...they meet each other after a leap with the same dark world hovering around them

to create a S2...it can take many ways...but its also upto leads whether they want to continue S2

I doubt they will bring Tinaa as Jhanvi and akarsh daughter.

Such double role Tinaa has already done in Uttaran. It is very common track. Ekta herself did it in Naagin. I mean such cliche repeated track. It is so cliche track. If Ekta wants to bring back daayan. It would be something different.

Mohit I guess has taken break from his web series now and he may shoot after properly after daayan ends. I have seen he only on sundays he posts stories of his web series, he is shooting for his web series on Sunday. He had off from daayan and he was in outings /movies and all with his gf. He and his gf posted in stories. 😋

Right now I guess he is focussing on Daayan till it ends.

Watched only daayan on andtv that too started to watch for Tinaa. The show was different intersting and fresh.

They lost the whole plot and turned it into SaaS bahu fight and typical ITV bechara son. They could have done wonders with such a major twist of akarsh being daayan. They just left most of the tracks unfinished like they never happened at all.

Prosthetics and horror effects I guess are out of their hands. They put in as much money in effects and prosthetics as they could. But the story is in their hands. The show had so much potential but they just brought tracks, left them unfinished or stretched them like rubberband.
