Can someone please tell me....

Haven't been a regular in the forum. I watched only the initial few episodes of Daayan but later could not continue watching it for various reasons. I looked up in the net for WU to follow the story and even Wiki. But there was nothing. Can anyone please tell me what is the story behind Satrupa and who is Akarsh's dad? And what about Akarsh's human family? I remember he had a mom who was Janantha's mom's best friend. I saw the scene where she fell off a building and died. I also remember seeing a scene where a king's corpse was being preserved. Can you also please tell me who is this king?

Who is AKarsh's dad?

They never told it. Initially it was said he is aryavanshi, so when he was revealed as Daayan's son, there was a suspicion that Daayan's husband, the kind (whose body the daayan preserved) was AKarsh's father, but they never showed anything about AKarsh's father after that. The king died 500 years back and Jhanvi and Akarsh were school mates so makes no sense that that raja was Akarsh's dad.

This they should tell how AKarsh was Aryavanshi because the mangalsutra did got activated after Jhanvi married Akarsh.

They completely ignored him being aryavanshi too.

AKarsh's human family:

Meinka, the lady whom Akarsh called mom was Daayan's gulam and the daayan killed her. Same with Akarsh's human mamaji, he was also Daayan's gulam and Daayan killed him. Basically his family is Daayan, his mom.

Meinka was like a caretaker mother to him I guess, dai maa , who took care of him as a mother, may be that is why he was emotionally attached to her.

Satrupa was initially introduced as the protector of Manni for 500 years, who was supposed to help Jhanvi in getting manni as Jhanvi was the desreving owner of manni which Satrupa did. She was introduced as the king's favourite and trusted person and a magician, so he handed over the manni to Satrupa before the daayan killed the king. She was protector of manni for 500 years. But then she was turned into some lady obsessed with handsome men, and who just wanna have relation with handsome men and when she is over with them, she killed them. And later she gave the manni to Daayan and helped Daayan become amar by killing Jhanvi because she wanted to have Akarsh and since Akarsh loved Jhanvi so she tried to kill her. Actually she wanted to kill Jhanvi from the intial encounter only when she was Akarsh and Jhanvi together in Daayan lok, she realized they love each other so when she came back after JHanvi and Akarsh saved her, she lied to Daayan and asked her to kill Jhanvi. Kind on confusing character, they didn't give a better definition to the character.

The king was Daayan's husband and he had manni so the daayan wanted to have manni from him and become amar and rule the world, but they showed that the king got to know her reality and tried to kill her but the daayan killed him before that. So the secret of manni also died with the king. To know about the manni secret, the daayan preservs the king's body for 500 years so that she can bring him back to life and know the secret. To bring him back to life, she had to make some kids shaitan.

Thanks a lot for the update dear 🤗 the story does have some loose ends like Akarsh's parentage. I had seen the part where Akarsh and Jhanvi were school friends and Akarsh held a torch for Jhanvi since his school days which means they r of the same age. So the long cannot be his father.

You mean watch? Yes! And not just that, they have emphasises from day one on Akarshvi studying together in boarding school and knowing each other since school (though not on a very good terms). They mentioned many incidents between them during school time. They have a whole back story to their love story which they totally ignored.

Oh yeah, that! I remember now. Chandrika looked like the rani in the portrait which Jhanvi spots during the shooting. Too many loose ends indeed! I watched till the episode where Akarsh proposes to the other girl. Was Nandini her name? 🤔 She is dead I suppose? I guess Chandrika taking away the kid was just shown to mislead the audience but it made the story seem senseless. Mangalsutra got activated? What happened because of that? Sorry I am clueless at this point

mangalsutra part...it did got activated after akarsh puts on jhanvi......she did use the mangalsutra to kill the daayan...but its told that its fake n the daayan possessed jhanvi n control her...the mangalsutra part was brought in just to get akarsh n jhanvi married...it was a good track went wasted

Mangalsutra to kill the daayan? How does that make sense? So the daayan wanted Jhanvi to marry her son? But for what? That’s the only reason I see y she ensured Jhanvi misunderstood about it so that she would marry Akarsh.

Jhanvi married Akarsh in secret. The daayan (Asha) didn't know she was marrying Akarsh. For people it was Nandini who was marrying Akarsh till finally Jhanvi showed her face.

The daayan (Asha) wasn't happy with Jhanvi marrying Akarsh, in fact Aasha asked the pandit can they cancel the shadi by ulte phere something like that 🤣 Pandit said they have married with all the rituals and they are husband and wife.

Akarsh was said to be aryavanshi too so that why the magalsutra got activated as soon as Jhanvi became Akarsh's wife, and Jhanvi even almost finished the main daayan with magalsutra powers but then the main daayan brought that kid Bablu and possesed him and started strangling him so Jhanvi left the process of killing the Daayan mid way to save Bablu's life. The possesed Bablu attacked Jhanvi snd Jhanvi fainted and might be that time the daayan made Jhanvi also her ghulam. And at that time Chandrika stole the real mangalsutra and replaced it with a fake one. (It was revealed later that Chandrika took the real mangalsutra and instead kept the fake mangalsutra)

They should tell this Akarsh being aryavanshi thing, which I guess would be revealed when Akarsh's father is revealed. What I feel is at that time too, Akarsh got Jhanvi back from jungle. When Jhanvi woke up from unconciousness, she was in AKarsh's room and she had the mangalsutra too (the fake one which Jhanvi assumed to be real one).

So true!! Can't agree more!!

I was so excited for their school story since day 1. They had some interesting and unique love story for sure the way in first meet after three years, they questioned each other in silence. In school itself they had so much emotions and layers in their love story, love , anger, they had their own character.

Satrupa track was a big let down. Just imagining it never happened, the shadi and suhagrat and all.

I wish they could have shown Satrupa track as the protector of Manni and obsession Akarash but not stretched it so much. And they could have devoted at least one epi to Akarshvi school story. They are the lead pair and their story is so incomplete. In starting they did mention AKarsh and Jhanvi and some incidents of their school life but in parts and half way/incomplete.

In starting the Satrupa track did look like a part of the main story but then they just dragged the track.
