I feel as thou the makers of the show and the channel are not in sync with each other regarding the show. Kundali Bhagya has had unprecedented amount of success from the very beginning. The show has given the channel high TRP and I assume the channel has been reluctant to change the status quo. It is only after the show's TRP fell a little bit that the makers were able to conclude the 'first' actual wedding of the show in the 500th episode. Historically, Balaji shows have never been shy in bringing new twists and turns in terms of the progress of there serials (no matter how stupid). But with both Kumkum and Kundali I feel as thou it is the channel that has had more of a say in the 'pace' of the story progression than Ekta.
